Thank you so much for this incredible review, and for sharing your family's time with us! Your photos are amazing. It makes us so happy to hear that everyone had a wonderful time. It's exactly the kind of reset we hope for at Wildernest. The forest going quiet, the fire crackling, dropping onto those comfortable couches after a day of adventures, great books, wildlife on the patio and comfortable beds. Spotting a wedgie eagle, wombat, echidna, kangaroos and wallabies all from the patio is proper mini-ecosystem magic. I truly love welcoming families into the forest and hearing about their animal sightings. You're absolutely welcome back anytime. We'll have the fire going. 😊 Warm regards, Wildernest 🌿

I am listing my property not just as a place to stay, but as a peaceful retreat. I wish to share the cinematic, grounding, restorative energy this place has given me so you too can escape the everyday hustle and fully embrace the natural rhythm of the space.

I am excited to share this experience with you.

I love being creative and bring high voltage energy with a glow and a bright spark.

I love traveling and hyped for whatever comes next!

Why they chose this property

Harolds Cross,is a tiny, highly peaceful rural suburb in the foothills of the Southern Tablelands.
With natural beauty and a secluded feel, it is conveniently located an easy drive from larger towns.
The area features natural bushland that backs onto national parks, providing a perfect environment for bushwalking, bird watching, and enjoying native Australian wildlife.

What makes this property unique

Wildernest is pure bliss. The photos may allow your eyes to see what you will witness when at wildernest but the true magic occurs once you enter the property.

Wildernest is architecturally distinctive — it's a destination in its own right, not just somewhere to sleep between point a and b..

You're not just "near nature" — you're suspended in it. The extensive glazing means waking up surrounded by canopy, not a fence line.

Sauna + fireplace + outdoor shower + wrap-around verandahs + large playground + creek + internet + external lights hidden in the trees + trails + more in a remote forest setting. That combination is rare.

It's hosted by real people who love the place and welcome with open arms any suggestion you may have to improve the property for the next guest.

We hope you love and enjoy each and every stay with us at Wildernest.
