The Cedar Cabin is an inviting rustic cabin located at Lake Murray in Newberry County, South Carolina that will take you back to your childhood. Knotty pine ceilings and paneling,and natural slate floors make you feel as if you're already outdoors. Lake Murray is a short walk away , and boat ramps are available nearby, The spacious lodge room boasts a massive fireplace that invites you to sit and relax at the end of your day. A large rear porch has a porch swing and rocking chairs just like Grandmother’s did.A large yard provides lots of space to park multiple vehicles and boats, including outdoor lighting and electrical outlets to charge boat batteries .Enjoy a game of horseshoes while you grill in the backyard, or sit by an evening fire. Ideal for fisherman, outdoorsman, and nature lovers. Hike the Palmetto Trail, or view the purple martens in late summer on Lake Murray. A blue heron awaits you at the end of the walking trail most mornings. Red foxes , Whitetail deer, ducks, Canadian geese, Osprey, snowy egret, and red feathered hawks are among the other wildlife you might observe on any given day.
