Tidy and very cute modernised fifty plus year old two bedroomed cottage with quite special ambience. Relaxing in winter with wall heating plus open fire…… there’s something calming about an open fire. Has double glazing for warmth in winter and sliding windows and French doors for breezes in summer. An eclectic library, books left by previous guests, some classics, children’s selection and coffee table gems.

We are accommodation veterans being the owners of the much loved Coach Trail Villas from 1990 to 2012. During that time we managed five beach cottage rentals. Waiwera was a busy little village with the thermal resort attracting hundreds of visitors each week

Why they chose this property

Surprisingly easy access to Auckland. Thermal water was an immediate attraction as Rotorua was my home town

Most guests talk about the calmness the cottage offers. Its ambience is very special and we find it just keeps giving during all the seasons.
