Ask lots of questions to avoid being misled.
The owner Fernando has sub contracted the check in and check out to a third party - Snow clefs (Isabelle) and guests cannot use the Apartment reception check in.This third party did not use the Vrbo app and communications were challenging. Her email went to spam and was not seen. Texts allegedly sent by her were not received and calls went unanswered. The owner had to be contacted via the Vrbo app and then communication from Snow Clefs improved.Nobody greeted us on arrival and no bed linen was available for the first night.On arrival, the property was dirty with the children having to remove toe nail clippings from the stained mattress protectors.When the lack of bed linen was resolved the following day it cost 87 Euros. We later found out that it would have been substantially cheaper from the Aspen reception which was disappointing.There is no wifi in the property contrary to the listing. This meant that only French TV was available for the children.The reception facilities (which are excellent) are only open from 5pm to 7pm, so any board games or meeting up with friends has to be done in the typically cramped appartment.The swimming pool and spa shuts promptly at 7pm.Overall the challenging communication with the third party agent, low standard of cleanliness and misrepresentation of available facilities spoiled the experience.
