A beautiful rustic and historical cottage that has been lovingly restored. Very clean and quaint inside. There is an enclosed garden to let the dog of leash which is nice for some added space. The cottage is situated close to the main residence, however Marnie and Dale are very friendly and unobtrusive.

After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great night away and highly recommended.
