Beautiful location

Beautifull location and apartment. Agriculture area and watching the sheep in a distance with their bells and chickens. Enjoyed the paragliders. Just a wonderful stay, hope to return again.

Great Grindelwald experience

A great place to stay in Grindelwald that is quiet and away from the crowds in town. It was easy to find and a fun drive up the hill. Excellent view of the valley from the deck and very relaxing to sit out and enjoy the sounds and the sun. The hosts are friendly and there if needed and leave you alone to enjoy your stay at your own pace.

A delightful apartment with stunning views

The apartment is contained with the farm and has everything needed, including access to the laundry room. Annerös and her family are very welcoming and charming hosts and helped to make the stay so enjoyable.The local 123 bus service, which is free to use, stops only 100m from the house. Our car was parked for the duration of our stay. The views across Grindelwald to the Wetterhorn are stunning, while the Eiger rises over the farm and presents an impressive view.In summary, this is an excellent apartment, in tip top condition, in a superb location.

Idyllic location beneath the Eiger surrounded by picturesque Swiss scenery. Ski-in / Ski-out was perfect and 100m from two amazing restaurants for evenings. Modern, clean and functional inside.

Fantastic home in the mountains

We loved staying here with our two children. It was easy to communicate with Annerös and Daniel and very cool to see the animals. Beautiful home with an awesome view over grindelwald. The bus stop was so close and we were even able to ski down to the terminal ski lift front the house. We would love to stay longer!

Love it. Everything was clean and in repair. Views are incredible. Family is incredible. They gave us cheese and eggs and jam as a welcome gift. 100 percent would stay here again and recommend for anyone.

Amazing

A beautiful apartment in an amazing setting with mountains virtually all around. The views were to die for. So much to see and do in the area. Daniel and Anneros and her mother were great hosts and the products from the farm, cheese, milk, and the jam were much appreciated. Thank you all for a wonderful stay in Grindelwald.

Exactly as described

This is the perfect place for people who do not like a touristy cliche. It is out of the way and you need to take the bus (which conveniently stops just meters away) or drive to get into town but that is what makes it so nice. You can do what all the other tourists are doing but then retreat to a mountain oasis in the evening. The apartment was well out-fitted if you want to cook for yourself. There is in-floor heating which nicely takes the chill out without forced air which can dry you out. This is a working dairy so respect the goats and cows that may be there depending on the time of year that you visit. (In the summer they are high up in the Alps and not down in the valley). I would definitely recommend both Grindelwald and this apartment to people.

Fantastisch uitzicht.

Appartement met prachtig uitzicht, rustig en landelijk op een boerenerf gelegen. Vlakbij de bushalte naar de Terminal.Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Het appartement is groot genoeg voor 2 personen.

Schöne Unterkunft mit wundervollem Ausblick

Wir, drei junge Mädels aus Norddeutschland, haben unseren Urlaub in verschiedenen Orten in der Schweiz verbracht. Grindelwald war unser erster und längster Stop und in der Ferienwohnung von Familie Steuri. mit Abstand auch der schönste! Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne und zugleich aufregende Zeit. Familie Steuri war jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend! Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und wollten diesen schönen Ort am liebsten gar nicht mehr verlassen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Nice apartment with amazing views

The apartment Anneros and Daniel provided was excellent. Extremely comfortable and cozy after long days of hiking. The eggs, homemade cheese and jam were all very tasty. A 5 min car ride to Grindelwald terminal where you can access all of the bus, gondola, and train routes. Listening to the family play in the evening the traditional Swiss music was also very relaxing and enjoyable!

Appartement mit Blick

Wir haben uns bei Fam. Steuri sehr wohl gefühlt. Annerös ist eine herzliche und fröhliche Gastgeberin. Das Appartement ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Der Blick vom Schlafzimmer auf den Eiger ist was Besonderes. Ebenso der Blick vom Balkon über Grindelwald oder hoch zur Bussalp und der Grossen Scheidegg. Auf dem Balkon lässt es sich gut verweilen und entspannt lesen oder den Blick schweifen zu lassen. Die am Haus gelegene Bushaltestelle ist perfekt für die Fahrt nach Grindelwald. Mit der uns zur Verfügung gestellten Gästekarte konnten wir den Bus kostenlos nutzen. Eine gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit besteht im Landi, wo man Produkte aus Grindelwald (bspw. Eier, Joghurt, Milch und Käse) kaufen und man von der Ferienwohnung direkt mit dem Bus dorthin fahren kann. Wer gerne in der näheren Umgebung, zum Männlichen oder der Kleinen Scheidegg wandern möchte, hat von der Ferienwohnung aus gute Möglichkeiten dazu. Am Haus gibt es einen Stellplatz für den PKW. Das Begrüßungskörbchen mit leckerer, selbstgemachter Marmelade, frischen Eiern von den eigenen Hühner und Käse aus eigener Herstellung war eine schöne und definitiv leckere Geste. Im Ergebnis haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden herzlich empfangen. Wir planen bereits für das nächste Jahr einen weiteren Aufenthalt bei den Steuris.

Sehr nette Gastgeber! Traumhafte Lage... . Hochwertige/saubere/ruhige Unterkunft. Kostenfreier Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe. Sicher früher oder später noch einmal. Kurzum: Sehr zu empfehlen!

The accommodations were fantastic! The owners were fabulous! Very clean and comfortable. The rental was 3km form downtown Grindelwald. There is a bus for free, but we did not take it. Make sure you have good GPS. We would stay here again!
