About this property

Take shuttle or walk to lifts! 4 br / 2 bath house around the corner from Stratton Mountain! The house is a short 10-minute walk to the ski lifts and Stratton village and it's also directly on the Stratton shuttle route that operates during the day on winter weekends and winter holidays (Dec, Jan, Feb, March)!

The house is also an 8-9 minute walk from the Snowbridge where you can walk directly onto the Lower Wanderer trail and ski down to the base! The house is also close to multiple state parks and if you want to check out another mountain there are 4 other ski mountains driving distance from the house!

There are a total of 4 bedrooms, 8 beds, and 2 bathrooms! Amenities include a Large TV with cable, high speed wireless internet, Deck with table and chairs, propane BBQ, large wood burning fireplace, pool table, shuffleboard table, dart board, incredibly comfortable sectional, + more! (propane bbq, deck, and patio furniture are seasonal)

The upper floor consists of an open concept Kitchen / dining / living room area with a wood burning fireplace, Large TV, full bathroom, and 1 bedrooms
-Upper floor bedroom: 2 queen size beds

The lower level consists of 3 bedrooms, game room with pool table and dart board, and a full bathroom:
-Lower level Bedroom 1: 2 queen size beds
-Lower level Bedroom 2: 1 queen size beds
-Lower level Bedroom 3: 1 twin size bed, 1 twin over full bunk (full size bed and twin size bed above it)

You have access to the entire property

We are available by cell during your stay but we have a local caretaker that can also be contacted.

We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles for driving in Vermont over the winter months.

BBQ is stored during peak winter months so that it isn’t damaged. Deck is closed during winter as snow can fall off roof.

The house has 2 pack and plays that can be used.

You are more than welcome to bring your dog, we just ask that you keep him/her off furniture and beds as it’s difficult to get the hair off and please pick up outside if in trafficked areas. If you would like to bring more than one dog please just reach out for pre-approval.

Dogs visit the home on occasion so if you are allergic please take this into consideration

The house is family friendly but isn’t kid / baby proofed

Shuttle operated by Stratton Resort, we aren’t in control of schedule or changes in service due to weather, etc.

Amazing Stay!

We were more than pleased with our stay! Alex and his wife were always quick to respond to any questions we had. They were so incredibly accommodating too! The house was conveniently located on the Red Line so getting to the mountain was easy! You could even walk, but the 20 inches of snow we got made that quite difficult! The house was very spacious too. The pool table and shuffle board were great additions! We would definitely stay here again :)

Comfortable, equipped, and great location for family ski weekend

Loved the open floor plan on the first floor - comfy seating area near fireplace, great big dining room table good for eating and playing games. We made full use of the well equipped and easy to navigate kitchen. Also appreciated the number bedrooms and sleeping arrangements downstairs on ground level. Also liked having ski shuttle as an option, although we wound up doing the short drive to parking at the base on Friday and sunbowl on Saturday. Overall, a great house to hang out in with the family.

Great Stay

The property was perfect...amazing / convenient location and the house itself was more than described, it was perfect. We had our family of 5 and an additional 4 on two nights, and there was more than enough room. I cannot wait for next year. Highly recommend!

Nice layout for several people

Pool table, shuffle board, and darts were a hit with the kids. We all slept very comfortably with a layout that really separates everyone. Rained most of our trip, but we really enjoyed the breakout room down the street.

Excellent location

We all enjoyed our stay so much we can’t wait for next season !! Having said that, the check in process was one of the easiest we’ve ever experienced and Alex and Rebecca were always available for any question we had. The house is clean, well-appointed and in a great location for skiing and hiking. We came with another couple and our two fur babies and just thoroughly enjoyed every minute!! Thank you for being such gracious hosts with your awesome home !! God bless !!
