Charming 3/2.5 Cottage in Mirror Lake Near Downtown!!!

Beautifully decorated 3 bedroom 2.5 bath in Mirror Lake. This charming home has great outdoor living in a comfortable setting. Enjoy a cozy night by the indoor fireplace, on the porch, or outside in an adirondack by the lovely outdoor firepit. Walk to town or to Mirror Lake and enjoy all Highlands has to offer.

Pet friendly with a $295 fee. You must select that you are bringing a pet when booking and include the pet type and weight in the booking request.

Grill, firepit, comfortable porch, woodburning fireplace in the living room, indoor and outdoor tv, walk to town, the list goes on! Come enjoy all Highlands has to offer.

Very kid friendly property with a great bunkroom and fun outdoor area to explore! Multiple waterfalls are a short drive away.

Plenty of parking. 2 separate parking areas and street parking at the lot next door can accommodate 4-6 cars total.

2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths are upstairs. The master and master bath are downstairs.

Please note bedding configuration-VRBO makes owner put maximum sleeps number. 10 people is tight especially if no kids but some people do it.

All new bedding and mattresses that are extremely comfortable. The living area offers plenty of comfortable seating as does the quaint outdoor porch.

Great Highlands Getaway

Great house and family-friendly for our 2-year-old. Location is only a 7-8 minute drive from Main Street/downtown Highlands. The host was quick to respond and proactive. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in the Highlands. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable for all of us. The location was close to downtown and close to some great hikes. The property manager was very quick and responsive to any of our questions or needs.

Great house and great location! We’ll be back for sure! Incredibly clean and well supplied. We had a small issue in the beginning but Drew was quick to respond and all was resolved within the hour. Can’t wait to enjoy it again.

We had a wonderful time during our stay! We enjoyed the firepit and did a lot of walking around the neighborhood. We saw black bears and a red fox on our walk. The home is very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a fabulous trip staying at this precious updated cottage. We had five of us staying, and this house was very comfortable. We loved hanging out on the screen porch and by the fire pit. It was so nice to have several different outdoor areas and well as the beautiful living room, so we could spread out. The location was fabulous - minutes from downtown Highlands by car. I would stay here again!

After Christmas stay

The property was close to the Highlands downtown area and had good streets for walking pets. It had all amenities needed for cooking and your stay. We appreciated the abundance of already cut firewood to make the cold days nice and toasty.

Great mountain home!

This mountain home was perfect for our girls weekend in Highlands! There was a twin bed pictured in the listing, that was not there when we arrived, but we worked it out. There was dust/cobwebs in some areas, and trash left on the beams in the living room, but overall it was clean and felt very safe. The kitchen was a little small, depending on the size of your party, but this was a perfect place to stay if you are planning to be out and about. Downtown was only a 5 minute drive!

Perfect for a short or long-term getaway

If you are a family, a writer/telecommuting exec looking for a change of scenery, this might be your perfect spot. Just bring change of clothes and some food/beverages. Rest is provided - both literally and figuratively. Lots of cozy blankets. Lots of kitchen stuff to cook/eat and clean up.

Charming country cottage

Adorable cottage in great location off the beaten path. Home was adorable, nicely furnished, clean, comfy bedding, easy check-in/access. Bathrooms disappointed - loose fixtures, strong musty smell in upstairs bathroom & powder room, dated main shower, lower shower / tub shower head not secure & sprayed on wall. Overall, pleased except for bathrooms.

Got there late and with no housenumber, it was hard to find

Communication was bad with the rental people. I ended up calling the owner, who was very nice. He gave us the information we needed.
