Pentrez is located in the heart of the bay of Douarnenez. The short distances allow you to go to a big city (Quimper, Brest) or to discover wild lands such as can be found on the Crozon peninsula or around Ménez-Hom. Pentrez beach (a fine sandy beach that stretches over 2 km) is perfect for a hassle-free swim. From July 1st to August 31st it is supervised by lifeguards. Many nautical activities are practiced there (land yachting, water walking, kite-surfing...) During the summer season, a market is held there every Monday morning. The town also organizes mussels and fries, concerts, exhibitions or initiations to Breton dance.
