A super property and nice to have a little garden to sit in. Very comfortable and Vincent was a very helpful and generous host. We went to Germany for a couple of days, Les Vosges, Colmar and Les Beau Villages. A lot of driving but we saw and did a lot too. A lovely place to return to each evening, thank you

Excellent Gite !

Have stayed in many holiday rentals in Europe, The Sesame is one of the best. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and decorated. Our host Jacques was amazing- loved the wine and homemade bread. Great location for touring the area. Highly recommended.

Better than it looked in the photos

We had a very comfortable stay at Le Sesame - the property was beautiful, modern, clean and really well-equipped, especially in the kitchen. Our host was friendly and welcoming, and was available online to answer any questions. The location suited us well, with on-site parking and convenient to travel to the lovely villages in the region, as well as hopping over to Germany too.

Lovely little apartment with friendly hosts

We were charmed by the Ley family as perfect hosts bringing us homemade breads and suggestions for excursions. The place was immaculate with well equipped kitchen and well designed large bathroom. Really appreciated to small water closet by the bedrooms. Located in a small village just 10 minutes away from Colmar. Central location makes it easy to drive to all the pretty towns in central Alsace. Thanks Vincent.

The Perfect Stay

We wanted a quiet 3 month getaway in a small, rural French village close to a larger town and needed 2 bedrooms so friends/family could stay for short periods. We saw reviews saying "Le Sesame" was exactly like the pictures (and it was). On arrival, our hosts greeted us with wine and bread which we promptly sat down and enjoyed with them. The accommodation was exactly what we'd wanted. We quickly realised how close things were, including beautiful Colmar and the amazing vineyard covered, gingerbread house villages dotted around it. We bought 2nd hand bikes (our primary means of transport) and enjoyed riding along the canals so close to us. We also took the local bus often. It's not a frequent service but it terminates at Colmar train station, is inexpensive, and so convenient given your bus stop is <100m from your front door. From Colmar train station, we travelled to other French cities (Strasbourg is a must), Germany and Switzerland. Host Vincent bakes and sells bread onsite Wednesdays and Fridays (oh, that wonderful smell). We had some very minor issues while living there but Vincent responded very quickly to those, so we were never inconvenienced. We want to thank our hosts for being so welcoming, helpful and friendly towards us during the 3 months we lived there. We can highly recommend "Le Sesame" and the Alsace region to those seeking respite from the more touristy French areas.

Wir hatten zu viert einen wunderschönen, erholsamen Aufenthalt im „Le sesame“. Diese Ferienwohnung ist nicht nur sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, sondern ist auch schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl, auch weil Vincent immer für uns ansprechbar war. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Ferienhaus Sesame ist wunderschön gestaltet und punktet mit absoluter Sauberkeit und stilvoller, hochwertiger Einrichtung. Es ist sehr ruhig dort und es hat uns gut gefallen, dass sogar elektrische Rollladen vorhanden waren, so dass man u.a. die Schlafräume abdunkeln konnte. Der Eigentümer ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer für Fragen offen. Wir haben eine Woche dort verbracht und uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt, so dass wir sehr gerne wiederkommen würden.

Zeer fijn en compleet huis

We werden goed ontvangen en kregen een fles wijn en brood als welkom. Vincent is makkelijk bereikbaar voor vragen e.d.Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien zoals een wasmachine, vaatwasser, koffiemachine etc. De inrichting is zoals op de foto’s en is luxe en prettig. Fijn ook dat je buiten kan zitten, eten en van de zon genieten.

Ein Traum an Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung Sésame entspricht genau der Beschreibung, ist super und gemütlich eingerichtet. Schon die Begrüßung ist traumhaft gestaltet: sehr netter Empfang mit gekühltem Crémant d’Alsace, Brot und Kugelhupf – extrem aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Sonnenschirm, Liegestühle, Bank und bequeme Stühle am Tisch sind vorhanden. Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Küche ist super ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche und Waschmaschine ist ebenfalls wunderbar. Es gibt eine separate Gäste-Toilette. Die beiden Schlafzimmer haben jede Menge Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten – Regale und Kleiderstangen inklusive ausreichend Kleiderbügeln. Auch ein Tresor ist vorhanden. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig, ist eine gute Ausgangslage für diverse Ausflüge. Alles in allem kurz gefasst: Ein Traum an Ferienwohnung, die auch noch genau der Beschreibung entspricht. Ist bei vielen nicht selbstverständlich, aber hier trifft es zu 100 % zu. Super empfehlenswert, gerne mal wieder!

Schöne, ruhige Wohnung
