Dear Trail Cabin, nestled in a peaceful mountainside forest, with abundant wildlife and unprecedented seclusion, provides an authentic mountainside cabin experience which allows guests to get back to nature and provides the promise of being dazzled by the environment that surrounds you. We're rustic....but not TOO rustic for those who enjoy being pampered just a little bit.

Known for its abundant charm and luxurious accommodations, privacy and serene atmosphere, our cabin is the perfect getaway for the romantic at heart. Our cozy and inviting home features a King Bed (lovely forest view visible from the comfortable bed through French doors), 2 Beautiful Stone Wood Burning Fireplaces, an extensive library with a variety of books, leather sofa and Flat Screen Smart TV. The cabin also has a functional (but limited) kitchen to prepare your favorite meals and a charcoal grill on the totally private deck, which is covered for outdoor dining even in a gentle rain. The bathroom provides a 2-person Jacuzzi tub that also serves as a stand-up shower, an antique makeup table and a private room for the commode. Outside the cabin you'll find a fire pit with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campfire....just bring your firewood, marshmallows and hot dogs!

Deer Trail Cabin is accessible with any kind of vehicle and is less than a quarter mile from the main road (although you'll never hear it). We are only minutes away from Eureka Springs, Beaver Lake, White River and Thorncrown Chapel. Enjoy many varied activities as you boat on Beaver Lake, float the White River, kayak, hike a trail in the Ozark Mountains, fly fish, mountain bike, climb, or even enjoy community theater and the many other attractions in and around Northwest Arkansas. Take in Eureka Springs for its highly-rated restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, antique shops, vintage clothing and craft shops, parks, natural springs, quirky tours and let's not forget the bars and micro-breweries! If you have time for day trips, check out the nearby towns of Fayetteville (home of the Arkansas Razorbacks), Bentonville (home of the Wal-Mart museum and Crystal Bridges Art Museum (spectacular) or nearby Branson, MO and Table Rock lake. Or you may choose to bring your supplies, never leave the property and just enjoy relaxing or exploring the 10 acres of mountainside behind the cabin. Many guests do just that!!! (Dogs especially love it because they can run off leash!)

Quick Vacation

The cabin provided everything we wanted. The interior is beautiful and the peace you get from sitting out on the back patio is needed when you’re looking to get away. The cabin is well taken care of and the property is good to walk around and enjoy the fresh air. Even though I enjoy getting out I couldn’t help but get back to the cabin and enjoy sitting around and enjoying the peace.

Great location

Property was remote and secluded as we wanted yet close enough to Eureka Springs to take advantage of restaurants and shopping. Great cabin if you like to be in nature.

Woodsy Getaway

The cabin is in a woodsy area with a wonderful deck. This is a great getaway cabin that is about a 15-20 minute drive outside of Eureka Springs. It is clean, well stocked, and well decorated.

Beautiful Cabin!

It was a beautiful cabin with a very cozy vibe! My husband and I spent a lot of our time on the deck enjoying each others company along with the occasional whoot of an owl! It stormed a few nights while we were staying at the cabin, and the sound of the rain on the tin roof had me sleeping like a baby! We definitely plan to come back and stay again!

Cutest cabin!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have been more in love with it! It is so peaceful to sit on the porch, listen to the birds, and watch the deer and squirrels. The cabin was everything we could have asked for and more, and the owners were so easy to communicate with and always so kind! We will definitely be back!

Beautifully Inspiring Cabin in the Woods!

From the moment you arrive, you can't help but be inspired by this beautifully designed story-book cabin in the woods! The love and care is evident in every part of this place. Plus, the setting is so peaceful and relaxing! We even had deer come right up to the cabin one evening. It was magical!

Charming cabin in the woods!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much we talked about going again next year! The cabin has everything you need to unplug if you want or just set back and enjoy the beautiful nature all around you! Weather you are sitting by the fire pit in the evenings or enjoying the deck just off the bedroom, morning or evening. This was a much needed vacation for us without the kids to just relax and reconnect! Thank you for sharing your charming cabin with us!!

Weekend stay

Great stay except checking in with no electric. The gate was very dark and the porch was total darkness, so therefore, we could not see the keypad numbers to get the key finally got in the cabin was very cold and dark, with no electric. After a couple of phone calls to Doug we got it solved Chris came and checked on us, and everything was good. A little disappointed that the fireplace in the bedroom did not work overall, the weekend was very good.

Great getaway

Super cute cabin. We loved everything about it except the kitchen. The kitchen is totally unusable for any sort of meal prep other than microwaving food. The sink is teeny tiny and I bumped my head on the counter trying to use it because it is back in the corner. The counter top oven has to be moved over the sink because there is no other place to put it and plug it in. It’s a shame because everything else about the place is awesome. Corners were cut on the kitchen. We’d stay here again but will just eat out.

Is this heaven? No it’s Arkansas.

Might as well be though. Adorable cabin, nicely secluded but close enough to Eureka Springs in case anyone feels it necessary to leave for any reason. Hubby and I brought our groceries, some changes of clothes and books, and just settled in for a marvelous long-weekend to celebrate the culmination of our third year of marital bliss with a much needed getaway. And what a getaway. Cabin is sweet, stocked with lots of necessities, big enough for two, and just so inviting! Every inch of the place says: “Relax, lay your burdens down and linger a while…”; whether that’s outside in the beauty of nature or the cozy inside, this place has it all for enjoyment of the simpler things. Loved it so much we booked another stay before we even left for our anniversary in 2024! PS: you had me with the wall of books.

Private & Perfect

Firstly, the location was fantastic. Located on the edge with a great view through the winter trees. It was private and secluded, but a quick drive and access to businesses, hiking, and Eureka Springs. Secondly, the cabin itself was extremely cozy. The owners have done a fantastic job of interior design. It had great room, plenty of supplies in the kitchen, a nice table for dining, comfortable seating inside and out, and an AMAZINGLY comfortable king-size bed. The jacuzzi tub was a highlight of the cabin and the home had all accessories needed to enjoy the stay. The deck/porch is large and gives fantastic views of your surroundings. The host was quick to respond and helpful when asked questions. I even had a package that, due to delivery issues, didn't make it in time and the host was willing to drop by the post office for me. I would recommend this stay to anyone and would stay here again if I were in the area! Very happy with my choice and Deer Trail cabin exceeded our expectations.

Cottage in the woods

We arrived in the pouring rain and could not find the road as it drops off the main highway. Then there are several cabins to pass. The cottage was nice. However we paid for 3 nights and only spent 2 nights at the place . The owner charged me a pet fee as expected, but then charged me for 2 rugs that had poop on them from someone else's dog!! I do not think that was fair!! That is what the pet fee is for. He also stated there was dog hair on the furniture and my dog does not shed. When I went in to use the bathroom there was a roach on the wall! The next time I went in there was a spider! Then one morning we woke up to a huge spider crawling on the blanket we were using. We could not take a shower because we never found how to turn the shower on. The jacuzzi had a nasty wad of someone else's hair in it when I took my bath. How gross! Just beware of the cleanliness and bugs!

We enjoyed the stay. The bed was comfortable the cabin cute. Very private and peaceful. One negative, I wish we had known how sharp the gravel in the driveway was. Its not tumbled stone, but small sharp rocks. By day two our pup was limping and had no desire to explore. Anyone bringing their pup should bring some booties. I think they would have made her more comfortable.

Loved this cabin! Looks exactly like the pics (except there's now a leather couch instead of a futon). The view from the bed every morning was gorgeous. The deck was amazing. The bed and sheets were heavenly. The AC kept up excellent in the August weather. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom, which even included a hair dryer and no shortage of mirrors. It was secluded even though it's just off the highway. Very very private and peaceful. The only highway noise that could be heard was the motorcyclists and it was really only noticeable when sitting on the deck but wasn't deafening. Will definitely stay again!
