Wunderbare Tage im Bassin de Marennes

Wir waren eine gute Woche zum Ende der Schulferien in Marennes-Plage und haben die Tage sehr genossen: das Haus ist sehr schön, die Küche mit fast allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Wir haben zwar einen Wasserkocher zum Teekochen vermisst, aber der klassische Topf auf dem Herd tut’s auch. Idealerweise wäre das Haus noch mit WLAN ausgestattet (die Teenager-Kinder haben das sehr bemängelt 😉), aber das sind wirklich die einzigen Punkte, die aus unserer Sicht zu optimieren wären. Unfassbar toll ist die kaum einsehbare Dachterrasse mit dem wunderbaren Blick auf’s Meer. Wir haben dort unzählige tolle Sonnenuntergänge genießen dürfen. Auch, wenn die Sonne eher zu stark ist, bieten sich Schattenplätze unter den Pinien. Unsere Hunde haben sich über den eingezäunten Garten gefreut… wenn auch der eine öfters mal die Dächer der Umgebung erkundet hat. Das Meer (+ Seudre) ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang weit, ebenso der Salzwasser-Binnensee in Marennes-Plage, wo man Gezeiten-unabhängig schwimmen kann. Perfekte Ausgangslage für viele Erkundungen und Ausflüge (Île d’Oléron, Atlantikküste…). Nicht zuletzt ein großes Lob an Christophe: er hat sich vorbildlich gekümmert als es ein kleines technisches Problem gab und ist ein sehr freundlicher, angenehmer Vermieter. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
