Motorcycle Trip
The house exceeded expectations. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs and nice deck to relax after motorcycling the many great roads in the area.

Decent location but bad experience with owner
The location was good, but the owner tried to get more money out of us afterwards by claiming we had left the place in a wreck. We disputed this claim, then the owner made an insurance claim stating that we had damaged the property. She received a check, but she lied to the insurance company. Disgusting and greedy at the expense of another person.

Overall nice place and house.
Our stay was overall good, despite some challenges. Checking in was a bit of a challenge in that VRBO didn't send us the check in information (ie code to lock box on front door). Fortunately, the own was very responsive to the message I sent her and she emailed right back and gave us the key code. When there was no key in there, she told us where a back up was. So it was a little challenging, but overall no problem. The house was clean, nice location in a cute town of Bryson City. It was challenging in that the Neighborhood didn't have sidewalks for walking on to get anywhere, but that was OK, no big deal. The other main challenge was that the house uses a water pump to get water from the well. For whatever reason, the pump had a problem, so we lost water to the house. The owner of the house was VERY responsive and worked to get a plumber there to fix the problem. After much back and forth, it didn't work out for us so we had to leave a day early, which was unfortunate because we liked the place. If we didn't have the water pump problems, I would have given the review a 5/5. The owners were great and communicated very well, so 5/5 for them. We would be back if we came to town again.
