Some Good But Too Much Bad For Us

I have never written a bad review, but here it is- Good things- Close to Metro, restaurants, and grocery stores. Clean, comfy King Bed, bright, and elevator accessible. BAD things- NO, and I mean no instructions whatsoever on what to do with the garbage, or how to run the coffee maker or convection oven/microwave, or location and use of laundry room. The wobbly kitchen table drove us nuts. No bulb in the one lamp in the living room. They gave us exactly 2 forks to use and not many more knives. No dish soap or dish towel. We were given 3 bath towels and 2 medium towels for our 2 week stay and you have to use a towel to block the water from the shower as it has no door and points straight out into the bathroom and floods. No top sheet on the bed, only a big hot comforter. Those stairs are not a "few steps." They are 6 high stairs with no railing and you have to go down and up them in the middle of the night to use the toilet. Very dangerous situation. The worst part was that I wrote seven messages and a few emails to the Parisian Home Service about some of these issues. The only one they responded to right away was the message about no sheets. They had someone come and deliver a top sheet. Well whoop-dee-doo. 5 days after we arrived someone finally emailed us to tell us what to do with the garbage! I would never book with them again. They don't seem to be aware of the things that were lacking in the apartment nor did they seem to care enough to respond promptly.
