Charming apartment, whose contemporary decoration and good quality household equipment offer all the comfort desired.
Nice view on the roofs, very bright and quiet, ideally located in the heart of St Jean de Luz, 2 minutes walk from the large beach, 1minute des Halles and 2 minutes from Place Louis XIV.
Composed of an entrance, fully equipped open kitchen overlooking the dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and one with 2 single beds) and a large bathroom with laundry.
WIFI access. TV with Netflix account available. Vinci car park at 20 meters, or free parking nearby.

On site our concierge service "Les Clés du Pays Basque" ensures your welcome and facilitates your stay.

Saint Jean de Luz is the ideal vacation spot for families; from outdoor activities to cultural visits, from shopping to beach dips, name it you have it. Enjoy the different beaches of the bay (Ciboure, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Socoa), Hendaye but also Erromardie, Guéthary...
Saint Jean de Luz was in the 17th-century one of the most important fishing ports of France and also the stage of a historical royal wedding between King Louis XIV of France and the King of Spain’s daughter, Maria Theresa. Start wandering and shopping in one of the main pedestrian streets : Rue Gambetta. For local products stop by the local market, the traditional and colourful « les Halles ». For other purchases, there are 2 huge supermarkets within a 5 km radius. Craving delicious seafood ? Experience the array of seafood restaurant at the Port. A little more laid back, Ciboure is a popular seaside resort on the Basque Coast, adjoining Saint-Jean de Luz, between Biarritz and Hendaye and a few kilometers from the Spanish border.

For outdoorsy ones, go take a hike on the Sentier du littoral (Coastline Path) you will never forget, from Bidart to Hendaye (20 km). A little further on that same cornice, lose yourself in the stunning Château Observatoire Abbadia (Abbadia Observatory Castle). A few kilometers away, immerse yourself into one of the most famous nineteenth century’s french author’s life Edmond Rostand by visiting Villa Arnaga in Cambo les Bains.

There are also many other activities such as hobbie cat, canoeing, rafting, diving, surfing, hiking, horse riding.

Spain is only few kilometers away : famous for its tapas evenings in Old San Sebastian (25 minutes) or Hondarribia (15mn). Last but not least, the Bilbao Guggenheim museum is just over an hour from here… The Spanish traditional markets called “ventas” offer a wide variety of local products. You can find them all along the French-Spanish border.

The inland Basque area is authentic and preserved, a true paradise for biking and mountain hikes. It is also full of scenic traditional Basque villages you cannot miss. Travel around and discover a few of them : Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Sare, Espelette, Ainhoa, Urrugne…

Very nice holidays!

Excellent location of the appartment. in city center but no noisy. Close to the beach. We didn't take car for one week and this was awesome! Very convenient and comfortable appartment, well equiped! All good. A bit hot maybe in case of hot weather.

Très bien situé, déco chic et raffinée

Beaucoup de bons points pour cet appartement : Situation parfaite près des halles, du marché, des supers resto&bars, et de la plage. Situation Parfaite pour aller visiter les landes, l'Espagne ou l'arrière pays!Gare (train&bus) a proximité si on veut éviter de prendre la voiture Déco soignée chic et design Equipements (machine,sèche-linge) et prestations parfaites (linges de maison, parasols...) Très bon Accueil& sortie, ménage à l'arrivée ok Instructions claires, Guide d'activité sportives avec réductions proposées Rapport qualité/prix: correct Les points à ne pas négliger ou à améliorer : 4eme étage sans ascenseur Appartement sous les combles. Si vous êtes grand, attention aux poutres. Il y fait très chaud malgré nos précautions pour rester au frais et les ventilateurs performants mis à disposition Situation centrale=bruit, pas possible de dormir la nuit sans fermer les fenêtres Pas de parking gratuit a moins de 15min (près du commissariat) et le prix dans la rue devant l'appart est élevé (60€la journée) Les portes intérieures, poignées et crochet ne fonctionnent pas bien, surtout la porte coulissante de la chambre des enfants (a ne pas fermer) impossible de la rouvrir sans devoir la surélever par dessous. Lit chambre parentale pas assez grand Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié l'appartement et avons passé un agréable séjour !
