This location was tucked out of the way. Only a few minutes to Brunnen. Well stocked. Incredible views. Super clean. Quiet location in a great little hamlet with so many great walks/trail hikes in close proximity. Would rate this a ten out of ten.

From Florida to Switzerland!

American family with 2 teenage boys spent 5 days at this lovely home. Home base for day trips to Zurich, Lucerne, Stoos, Rigi & Interlaken and Laughterbrunnen. The house was great, the neighborhood amazing, and the view even better. Paul was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I'd highly recommend; we had a terrific visit!

My husband, our adult daughter and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for several days. We cooked many meals in the well-stocked kitchen. While, small (as most European kitchens are) all dishes, pans, silverware were plentiful!The view is stunning! I sat many hours working a puzzle overlooking Lake Lucerne and the mountains surrounding Morschach, while my husband and daughter hiked. (This trip was a 70th birthday gift from daughter for her dad. I got to come along. Ha!)The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the linens, fine quality!This was our third visit to the Brunnen area from our home in Indiana. Highly recommend!

Notre séjour au lac des Quatre Cantons

Souhaitant visiter les alentours du lac des quatre Cantons, nous avons réservé le logement Waldstätter et avons passé un excellent séjour.L'appartement correspond parfaitement à l'annonce, nous y avons trouvé tout le nécessaire, et avons pu profité de la vue imprenable sur le lac.Paul a été très accueillant et nous a partagé ses idées pour découvrir la région.Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour un séjour au lac des quatre Cantons.

Vierwaldstättersee - immer eine Reise wert

Wir haben eine Woche die Gegend rund um den Vierwaldstättersee erkundet. Mit unserem Feriendomizil waren wir sehr zufrieden (sehr sauber, netter und kompetenter Vermieter, top Lage). Wir sind viel gewandert und eine Fahrt mit der steilsten Zahnradbahn ist ein MUSS :-). Natürlich sind wir auch mal nach Luzern und für alle Heidifan´s (wie ich einer bin) ist Maienfeld das Ziel der Wünsche.

Lieber Paul, wie wir unseren Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Ferienwohnung Waldstätter genossen haben. Und was für ein kleines Paradies Sie dort geschaffen haben, mit einem atemberaubenden Blick über den See und die Berge. In der Wohnung mit der tollen Terrasse und den Balkonen hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. sogar einen Trockenraum in der Nähe der Waschmaschine, sodass wir unsere gesamte Wäsche sauber nach Hause bringen konnten. Die Betten waren großartig und wir haben gut geschlafen. Lieber Paul, wir können diesen Ort in Deinem Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen. Net en goed uitgerust maar mist 1 essentieel onderdeel

Deze zeer nette en goed uitgeruste vakantiewoning mist 1 essentieel onderdeel: vensterhorren. Elke nacht op “muggenjacht” moeten gaan. Geen enkele nacht normaal kunnen slapen. En veel bulten en jeuk als resultaat.

Breathtaking views and beautiful garden

We very much enjoyed our 2-week stay in Landhaus Axenfels. The apartment is comfortable and spacious, its terrace and balcony ideal for dining outdoors while enjoying the incomparable sunset views across the lake. For walkers, there's no shortage of gorgeous hikes within easy reach by bus or boat (don't miss the Glattalp, the Spilauersee, and the hike from Klewenalp to Niederbauen). At Paul's suggestion, we bought the Tell Pass and were very glad we did: it's pricey but worth it. All in all, a memorable holiday and highly recommended.

Great Location & Views

For future visits (which we hope we can make) we will request the top floor unit if available so as to mitigate noise issues of young families with children running around early in AM - an issue Paul kindly addressed for us during our visit. In general, this unit was large and very comfortable for our party of 4 adults. We recommend it highly!

Mom and Sisters in Switzerland 🇨🇭

I traveled to Switzerland with my mom and sister and we stayed in Paul’s apartment for a week. Paul met us at the appointed time and gave us a tour of the beautiful apartment. First of all, the view is amazing! The apartment is equipped with everything you need. It’s close to Brunnen, but you feel like you’re far away from the hustle bustle. My mom and sisters all agree that Axelfel was our favorite location we stayed during our trip! 🇨🇭

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnungen mit grandioser Lage

Eine sehr schöne, großzügige Wohnung, der es nichts fehlt. Der Blick auf den See und die Berge ist einfach grandios. Das gesamte Anwesen macht eine äußerst gepflegten Eindruck und ist mit viel Liebe bis ins Detail gestaltet. Ein Lob auch dem sehr freundlichen Vermieter, Herrn Aschwanden, der sehr engagiert ist und für alle Anliegen ein offenes Ohr hat. Beautiful view in a perfect location!

The most important thing about this property is the view. It is amazing and unobstructed. You will not regret staying here for this alone! Paul was a wonderful host -- very easy to communicate with and our arrival was arranged seamlessly. The property feels quite private even though the amenities of the Swiss Holiday Park Resort are a very short walk away (convenience store, mini-grocer, restaurants, mini golf, go karts, horse-riding, etc.) It is a perfect location if you are with children. There are many gorgeous hikes within walking distance and the town of Brunnen is a 5 minute drive away with incredible views and nice places to eat along Lake Lucerne. A few notes: There are several apartment units in the house so you will likely see other guests during your stay. Laundry is shared. The beds are all twin beds -- very common in Switzerland and Germany. The master bedroom has 2 twin beds pushed together. The kitchen is very well-equipped with pans and basic cooking ingredients. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Traumhafte Unterkunft

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Wohnung "Vierwaldstätter See" verbracht. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind traumhaft, die Wohnung sehr hochwertig perfekt ausgestattet. Alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt, zumal auch das Wetter mitgespielt hat. Im Ort (5 Minuten zu Fuß) gibt es gute Restaurants, auch ein Besuch des Hallenbades im Swiss Holiday Park hat viel Spaß gemacht.
