The Luxury Avondale Guest House is in the exquisite historic neighborhood of Avondale. Ten minutes from downtown sports and entertainment complexes, and several major health care facilities, St. Vincent's Hospital, Baptist Medical Center and the world renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. Three short blocks to “The Shoppes at St. Johns,” with an outstanding array of restaurants and great venues to enjoy a streetside café-style meal, cocktail or dessert.

We actually could not stay here due to we all got a horrible case of the flu. The owner was so accommodating and helpful. Superb experience. We will stay here soon as we do travel to JAX often. Thank you so very very much.

A smartly decorated lovely place in a great location.

The carriage house was decorated like an upscale home, with a tasteful, modern motif. Super clean and had every thoughtful convenience. Walking distance to Avondale shops and restaurants. One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in.

It's nice to arrive someplace and be even more satisfied than you anticipated. Precious hideaway in Avondale and yet only 3 blocks from St. John's, the main street for dining and shopping. Donny Mak is a great host, easy to contact if needed.

My husband and I stayed at the property for 3 nights in January. The apartment was even better than the photos and details described! The location was superb, the unit was very clean and had all amenities that we could ask for. The Shoppes of Avondale is a 5 minute walk and has many excellent options. Really, it was a perfect stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
