We have newly renovated a Lovely home into The Hatter Cafe' and Country Inn. Come and enjoy complimentary Breakfast with each of our guest rooms. The Mentone Dreams suite includes a King Bed. Private Bathroom with walk in shower. Private reading/TV area. Entrance off your private deck with Hot Tub/Jacuzzi. Come sit and Relax on our spacious property under The Beautiful Pine, Pecan, Walnut and Glorious Red Oak Sequoia Tree from California. Always a Lovely breeze on the property with lower humidity due to the mountain elevation. Enjoy our themed room decor and The Alice and Wonderland setting for The Cafe'. A true place to relax and unwind.

Fun, quirky decor in the Alice in Wonderland theme. Room looked to be new addition, with comfy bed and cozy electric fireplace room. Breakfast delicious, and will stay again if available. Only disappointment was the hot tub shut down in February was not expected.

We had a wonderful time staying here! The hosts, Roger and Pamela were wonderful. They make you feel at home and so welcome. The food is also amazing, The breakfast is cooked fresh just for you. If you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland this is a must stay. The decorations and the gift shop have so many cool things. They have decorated it all perfectly, everytime I walked through an area I would notice something that I hadnt before. I dont think I can say enough to express how much I loved it here, and that Roger and Pamela were the best hosts.

We had a wonderful experience. We ate every meal except one there. Roger is a great host. Even though we had a power outage and a tornado warning during out stay we would not change a thing. The wait staff is amazing!!

Convenient location

We found the location convenient as it's on the main road through Mentone. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean, as was the hot tub. The owner was also responsive and helpful. And having breakfast right down the hall every morning was a nice plus! Worth noting that, while the place is dog friendly, the yard is not fenced in and, again, is right on the main road. There also isn't a ton of space for two people and a dog to move around. And just a reminder that there is no kitchen; there is a mini-fridge in the room, but no microwave or coffee maker.
