This is an exceptionally comfortable property. Enjoy laying out next to the pool on the large deck or stroll down to the lake for some scenic fun. No matter what time of year you come to visit us we offer many interesting things to do, from state park beaches, to renaissance festivals, the Fair Haven Golf Course, the nature center just minutes away. In the summer months we have wine tours and delectable restaurants, and recreational activities to please all. The Winery is only 1 mile away .

From the comforts of sitting in the kitchen together eating to picnicking out on the deck, to strolling the scenic walkways that are all over central New York. Everything was enjoyable. I invited a few friends for lunch and they loved the property. I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee outside. We love staying here. It is our home away from home. The beds are comfortable, central air works wonderfully and there is so much space for visiting with friends and family. The pool is nice but it was too cold to go in. However, we sat on the deck for hours. The fire pit was a great bonus. We love our s’mores. The neighborhood was quiet and we took walks everyday. George is very nice and accommodating. He supplies all the lines, towels and everything you need to have a stress free lovely vacation. We will be back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the landscaping was beautiful. The pool and deck area were especially relaxing, with clean lounge chairs and towels provided. It was a peaceful setting and conveniently close to Fairhaven Beach, which we loved.The hosts were friendly and accommodating—they allowed us to book for just two nights, and even provided a beach chair when we forgot ours, which was above and beyond.One thing to note: the hosts live on the premises. While they were kind and respectful, I personally found it a bit uncomfortable and felt like I was intruding at times. That detail wasn’t listed in the description, and if I had known, I likely would have chosen a different place. That’s just a personal preference, but I think it’s something future guests should be aware of.Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with great amenities and thoughtful hosts—just be mindful of the setup if privacy is important to you.

We had a great time at West Bay Escape! Clean and comfortable accommodations with plenty of room for the 8 of us. Great outdoor space, we loved the pool area! The property owner George was wonderful!

Fishing trip

Everything We Needed

This is a pretty and comfortable house for a getaway. We spent a lot of time in the pool with our family, playing cards at the table out front and just enjoying our family. The family room on the second floor is super comfy to watch movies at night. Convenient to restaurants and a beautiful vineyard.

Clean, Consistent, Fun

This was the fourth time staying here while visiting family. It's convenient to everything: Lake, State Park, Town, with its gift shops, restaurants, convenience store and best ice cream. George has thought of every accommodation when building this home. The pool is crystal clean and gets all day sun, so it's the perfect temperature. Looking forward to next year.

very beautiful place

The property is beautiful, I would recommend to all, but for me I wanted a nice place for my grandkids to meet because they don't see each other often because some are out of state and this seemed perfect they could swim, run and have fun, but seem to close to neighbors and sometime they get pretty loud. So I found myself stopping there fun not to bother neighbors and seemed we were being watched because we were a family of color there. This is a beautiful home and had all supplies that were needed there and more. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home.

Perfect house

We were in town for a family wedding and stayed with immediate family and cousins. We had other family over to visit and have dinner. The Layout of this house allowed for plenty of room for us to gather around the big table. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook. Unfortunately, we did not have time for the pool area. The pool area has a very large deck that allows for both sun and shade and relaxation. Very nice house. The owner stop by to introduce himself. He only stayed a few minutes and was very pleasant.

My husband called it “A little slice of heaven”

We had the most relaxing, comfortable time at this camp! It is beautifully landscaped and conscientiously maintained. The interior of the place is commodious and offered all the creature comforts: A/C, WiFi, flatscreens, front-loading washer/dryer, big walk-in shower, even a bidet! The exterior was the high point for our group; I think my husband would still be there at the fire pit if we let him. The pit was surrounded by beautiful iron benches so there was plenty of seating for everyone. Likewise, the spacious deck around the pool offered plenty of seating including covered patio, a 2-person swing, plenty of built-in benches, chairs, and loungers. The large yard was perfect for lawn games.George was a good owner in that he was around if needed, but completely unobtrusive. It is a quirky place (which was a plus for us) but it’s not your normal layout. The downstairs has one large open plan room that included a giant table perfect for game night, and a well-stocked kitchen. There are three small bedrooms off the main room. All were very well-stocked with linens and very clean, and as a bonus, they all had ceiling fans. You go up a very retro spiral staircase to the family room on the second level, which has plenty of comfy leather seating. The front patio has a modern gas grill and two spacious tables with umbrellas which were made good use of. A great space for entertaining overall!

Seamless check-in, lots of room for the family to spread out or all sit together at the same table. Pool is well cared for and there is plenty of shade and sun on the deck. Beds are comfortable, place was clean, 2 frig's! So nice to have bay access with a dock, fish we're caught! 5 minute drive to a wonderful winery or lake Ontario Stone beach in the other direction.

Absolutely Beautiful Property

The property has everything you need for a long stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans ect . Stocked towels for your stay, a beautiful washer and dryer and a POOL!

relaxing get away

this property is equipped with two refrigerators and seating for 10 at a beautiful kitchen tableit has a wonderful pool three bedrooms and a spectacular laundry facility as well as a great outside fire pit.it is close to Fair Haven State park and a winery is right around the corner.
