Majestic rural mountain landscape on the Greybull River in historic Meeteetse, Wyoming. Venture out for a short trip to Yellowstone National Park, the hot springs of Thermopolis, or the ghost town of Kirwin. Within 30 minutes is the historic town of Cody, namesake of the infamous Buffalo Bill, known for its world famous rodeo and nightly cowboy shootout reenactments. Great hunting nearby and trout fishing available right from the backyard. There is plenty to explore right in town (walking distance) with great local restaurants, bars, a chocolatier, and a wonderful local museum. Whether you are lost or not, this is your time to wander!

Loft king bedroom overlooking the river, large comfortable leather sofa and loveseat, dining table for 8 and bar in kitchen. Large open-concept kitchen with granite countertops. Full bath on main floor. Two lower level bedrooms with queen bed in bedroom 1 and queen bunks in bedroom 2 (no beds on main floor). Spa tub and shower (dual shower head) on lower level. Full-size washer and dryer. Large deck with view of the river and outside dining set with room for 8. Comfortable Adirondack chairs to enjoy the river view. Firepit next to river.

Beautiful place!

Beautiful home and property! Very clean and well taken care of! Would have loved to take advantage of the outdoors but mosquitoes were absolutely terrible! That was the only downfall!

This is an amazing place that I can not say enough about. If you like comfortable living and beautiful views of a river look no further! Also, rutting Mule Deer and 30+ turkeys wandering around is a bonus!

Greybull Cabin is special!

The best showers I've ever had! The place was so clean and cozy. I didnt realize it was in a neighborhood. I thought it would be more secluded but it was still very peaceful. My one critique would be definately not enough toilet paper for 6 people for a week. and getting supp

Nice cabin at beautiful river front location

Everything went well. The cabin was more than adequate and was clean and nicely equipped. I had a little trouble figuring out the thermostat but I am old and not tech savvy. I would recommend the cabin and location highly.

This cabin was great! Everything you need is there. The cabin is very clean and everything you will need is there. The view is outstanding. This cabin is 30 minutes from Cody, Wyoming just far enough that you know you are not in town. We will be returning in the future. This is a must stay cabin if you do not like to be around all the hustle and bustle of town.

Awesome cabin on the river

We absolutely loved everything about this place! It was clean and well maintained. We were able to see mule deer walk through the yard every evening! The downstairs shower was a hit with my wife. The owners of the property were in town and we met them at a local food tasting event. They are great people and are very attentive to their guests needs.

Fabulous Cabin on the Greybull River, seen Wildlife daily while drinking coffee on deck all day long

This Cabin is spectacular, we stayed 9 days and went different directions everyday to so many beautiful places, seen so much Wildlife and meet great people in Meeteetse, hats off to Thom with sidexside rentals -what a Great ride we had in the Mountains all day!! We loved sitting on porch of a morning watching Mule Deer and Turkeys and a rabbit daily. Wish we could have stayed here longer and will be back I'm sure. BREATHE TAKING BEAUTIFUL

Lovely Getaway Cabin

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It's at the end of a dead-end street, perfectly situated on the Greybull River. If you are wanting quiet and seclusion, this is it! We saw a lot of deer right outside and the weather was perfect to throw the French doors open and enjoy the fresh air and the sound of the flowing river. The town is very small, so we ended up driving ~30 mins each way to Cody for groceries, restaurant meals, shopping, and entertainment. We also did a day trip to Yellowstone - it was a long day but definitely doable if you'd like to spend a day or two at the National Park.

Meeteetse Cabin, Aug 21 2024

A great find in the small town of Meeteetse. Directly in town but with the feel of being in a cabin out in the wilderness. My wife and I enjoyed coffee in the morning out back overlooking the Greybull River and watching the parade of wildlife pass by. Turkeys, mule deer, ducks, seem to love the river highway. Inside was very comfortable with that rustic cabin feel. All the amenities that you need. There is a very good restaurant in town but if you need more, you are only 30 minutes from Cody. Cozy cabin was a breath of fresh air

The Greybull cabin feels like it could be in the middle of nowhere but its conveniently situated on the edge of a welcoming little town. We enjoyed the opportunity to get away from it all , as well as exploring some of the downtown area. We spent an unsuccessful afternoon fishing at the lower sunshine reservoir; despite the warm weather, it was still mostly iced over, but to be honest we probably wouldn't have caught anything in good conditions either. The best part was enjoying meals together at the large dining table, with the back doors open.

Beautiful cabin in a quaint small town.

The property had everything we needed, was clean and well equipped. Great outdoor spaces to enjoy the river with a campfire or a fire on the deck. Saw deer almost everyday roaming around the cabin. Also saw rabbits and a turkey. The Greybull River was raging the whole time. We were able to enjoy Yellowstone before they closed due to flooding. So sad. The museum in Cody was fabulous, the old trail town and shopping. Enjoyed Thermopolis and Wyoming Whiskey in Kirby. Breathtaking scenery everywhere!

A Gem in Wyoming!

The cabin is beautiful, CLEAN, all the creature comforts of home and convenient to the quaint town of Meeteetse. It was also very convenient to Cody and historic Kirwin (check out the WyomingPBS documentary on YouTube). Of course, the Meeteetse Chocolatier is a must stop. But of all places in this beautiful, genuine western town, The Elkhorn Bar & Grill is the place to grab a bite. This family-oriented location was full of locals (Thursday was bingo night) eating, having a drink, and playing bingo. We loved it. Everyone was so friendly, and when the games were over, everyone helped clean up. And the food was delicious. Staying at this beautiful home was the highlight to all of the above. It was comfortable and the river a perfect place to sit and unwind after a day of seeing all the area had to offer. This home is great for families, friends, or a couples get-away.

Wonderful White Christmas

My daughter and I spent Christmas in this lovely cabin. It felt like home away from home. The cabin was so welcoming, clean, and perfectly stocked with anything we could have needed to cook for our Christmas feast. The river was beautiful and my daughter got her wish for a white Christmas. A fresh snow came down on Christmas Eve. The few folks we talked to in Meeteetse were very nice and welcoming. We took a couple of day trips to Cody and fell in love with the cute mountain town. Many thanks to Mrs. Ginger for her wonderful hospitality and to Mrs. Sheryl the housekeeper. The home is lovely, very nice & great spot by the river. We are older & did have a hard time with the stairs. We chose the lower bedroom because of the bathroom being on the same floor. All in all it was wonderful.
