About this property

The raw beauty of Georgian Bay waterfront home

Experience the raw Canadian beauty of Georgian Bay at this spacious waterfront hide-a-way. Crystal clear water with excellent swimming. You’ll see small families of geese swim by to say hi as you gaze out in one direction at the ever changing shades of Blue Mountain in the distance or the open water of the Great Lakes in the other direction where the sun sets into the water.

The space
Enter the property through the stone gate under a canopy of oak, maple and cedar trees. Play on the front or back lawn or lounge by the water at sunset. You’ll likely not see a neighbor but maybe the occasional boat...

Guest access
Laundry room, large pantry, boat ramp, fire pit

Other things to note
This is a long time family home - modern but not sterile and a place where three generations of our family have respected the nature and environment. We’ve got the 65 inch 4K TV and hi-speed internet but take some time to turn all that off (not literally)and enjoy the place like we do.

A house with a view

We have left this property with the memories of Huron's shimmering waters seen from every nook and corner, and gigantic boulders on the beach belonging to the house. Itself, the house is spacious, well equipped, with a special European charm. It has also a magnificent deck built on the rocky slope above the beach. Water is crystal clear & swimming in it is a pure pleasure; to get into it one has to negotiate many slippery pebbles, so shoes for walking in the water are useful.

Than you Bogna and glad you enjoyed the place. Yes Georgian Bay has its own agenda and a few years of high water and winter storms took away the sand from our little cove but with a few well placed boulders and lower water levels we hope the bay will bring some sand back… instead of water shoes we just walk to the last boulder and jump in! Happy travels!
