One of the best things about this house is the location - located next to Rainbow Park, and only 1.5 blocks to the 4-Way stop shuttle to the ski lifts. The location is in-town with the added bonus of being on a quiet street without the late night noise from Elk Ave. In the summer you are a short distance from the recreation path and you can easily bike to Tony's Trail and hike or bike the lower loop. Situated on .25 acre lot makes it greater in size than most in town, which is why the house is also bigger than most at 3,365 sq ft.

AWARD WINNING HOME DESIGN:
Leading edge mountain modern design in the town of Crested Butte, this recent collaboration between award winning local Architect and Custom Homes oozes cool, luxe and convenience. Featuring a stunning, seamless mix of steel, brick, hardwood, concrete and clay, the completely renovated home flows naturally and comfortably from space to space. Even during the day you'll be tempted to turn on the home's cool Lutron powered designer lighting.

KITCHEN:
Step into the chef's kitchen and you'll be hooked. Fully equipped and includes everything you need for cooking and entertaining a large family or group. Enjoy being a master chef with the brand new 6 burner gas range, or opt for a backyard family barbecue with the gas grill on the back deck.

HOME THEATER:
Our home theater is voice enabled and very easy to operate. Have a seat in one of the luxe leather reclining chairs in the custom designed home theater with its 138 curved acoustically transparent screen and you won't want to leave. The home theater was constructed with extensive acoustic decoupling allowing for loud late night movies and music that won't bother those already asleep. All you have to do is tell Alexa that it's time for a movie, and the theater does the rest!

HOT TUB AND FIRE PIT
Exterior highlights include a spacious deck with 7-person hot tub, with a nicely landscaped and fenced yard with a paver patio and a very cool gas fire pit for comfortable summer evening gatherings after dinner.

FLOOR PLAN / BEDROOMS:
4 Bedrooms with 2 Primary Suites! The desirable traditional floor plan puts the living, kitchen, dining, entryway and a full bedroom suite on the 1st level and three more bedrooms including the master suite upstairs.

Primary Bedroom #1 - Located upstairs, featuring a king size bed, private balcony, large bathroom with luxurious steam shower and rain shower head system. Large master closet with full sized washer and dryer, which makes for the most convenient laundering after a long day on the slopes!

Primary Bedroom #2 - Located downstairs, featuring a very comfortable King size bed, door entrance to back patio, and en-suite/private full sized bathroom

Bedroom #3 - Located upstairs, featuring two Queen size beds and balcony access.

Bedroom #4 - Located upstairs, features a brand new King size bed, and balcony access. There is a full sized bathroom in between bedrooms 3 and 4.

TECHNOLOGY
This is a well equipped smart home with tons of cool features that are all voice enabled and easy to operate - designer lighting throughout the house, motorized shades, Sonos sound system, and the home theater. Also includes high speed internet and a workstation featuring complimentary access to the iMac desktop and printer for all of our guests.

Everything about this property was great. Many properties say “we’ll equipped kitchen” but are not at all, this one has everything to cook a great dinner. And so close you can walk to breakfast or dinner. The property manager was super helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Why they chose this property

Crested Butte is a very special place to my family. My parents first came to the valley on their honeymoon in 1976, and had dinner at the Wooden Nickel. One of the coolest things about CB is that time seems to stands still, everything has stayed the same and true to its roots. They have come every year since, winter and summer. My brother and I learned to ski here, as have our own kids. This is a very special house, steeped in Crested Butte history.

What makes this property unique

One of the best things about this house is the location. Located next to Rainbow Park, (where you are guaranteed to see some of the most epic rainbows you've ever seen!), and only 1.5 blocks to the four way stop shuttle to the ski lifts. The location is in-town with the added bonus of being on a quiet street without the late night noise from Elk Ave. In the summer you can easily bike to Tony's Trail and hike or bike the lower loop. Situated on one of the larger lots in town (.25 acres), you will relish summer afternoons lounging in the backyard by the fire pit. Another unique benefit to this house is the state of the art voice enabled home theater room, where you can watch movies in your own private cinema.
