Welcome friends!

This charming and cozy mid-century ranch home has been in our family for nearly 50 years and since we can’t be there all year round we don’t want it to get lonely! We figured vacation rentals were a great way to let the house know it’s appreciated even when we aren’t there.😊

The property is only 14 minutes from downtown Rochester, 22 minutes from the Rochester International Airport, and of course only a couple minutes from the quaint and beautiful Village of Fairport.

The house is a 4 bedroom 2 bath ranch-style home with plenty of room to spread out and relax in a beautiful and peaceful suburban neighborhood with a nearly half-acre yard bordering on a 20 acre wooded area. We regularly have deer, red-fox, rabbits, chipmunks, birds etc. visiting the yard. The home has a country/cottage feel with a number antiques that add to its charm.

The heart of the home is spacious yet cozy family room with a brick fireplace, 65” Ultra Hi Def TV and access to the relaxing outside deck with comfy chairs and a fire-pit table. 🍸 🍻 🔥

For additional gatherings, there is also a large living room with comfortable Pottery Barn couches to relax on... and if you have a musician amongst you, there’s a piano that definitely wants to be played. 😊 🎹

The Kitchen has newer stainless steel appliances and comes equipped with plenty of utensils, cookware, serving dishes, glassware, wine glasses, silverware and dinnerware. Next to the kitchen is a dining room with an expandable table to provide room for all.

There are four bedrooms total, two with Queen-sized beds and two with Full-sized beds. All have clean and comfortable mattresses with comfy sheets, comforters, waterproof mattress protectors and nice plush pillows with Aller-Ease antimicrobial pillow protectors. Most rooms also have handmade quilts if you need a little extra warmth on chilly nights.

Downstairs is a partially finished basement that has a second bathroom with shower and a large bedroom with a full size bed, 50” HDTV with Roku and a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a large laundry room downstairs.

The home has central heating and air conditioning to keep you comfy any time of year.

RIT Friends Get Together - Year 3

This home and location is perfect for our college friends get together - this was year 3 and we will be back next year! The home is as described, very clean and has comfortable space to gather.

Wonderful Stay!

We enjoyed a two-night stay to view the total eclipse. While the weather didn't fully cooperate with some cloudy skies, the property did not disappoint us. The home was exactly as described and had everything we needed. There was some nice touches like free snacks, bottled water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. There were clear check-in/check-out instructions as well as instructions throughout the house on how to operate various items. The night lights were appreciated for late night trips to the bathroom. The location was great with many small towns to explore and good restaurants nearby. We didn't get to Rochester, but it's only around a 20-minute drive. As craft beer lovers, we enjoyed the brewpub, New York Beer Project, 10 minutes away. Also took a walk along the Erie Canal. We would definitely stay again if we're ever back in the area. Thank you, Patrick.

Clean, spacious, scenic, quiet, perfect!

This home was perfect for my husband, parents and myself for a long weekend to visit family. Patrick went above and beyond to provide everything we could ever imagine we may need! The welcome snack station was a nice treat and there is even an emergency basket with a battery charger, flashlights, medical equip, etc. We loved that there are separate sitting rooms, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds were comfy and bathrooms clean. If you are looking for fully remodeled, this is close but there are a few things that could still use some updating, namely the main bathroom tub surround (it is completely usable and leakproof, just older tile and not the best caulking job). Overall this home was wonderful and we would stay again. The deer in the backyard and the back deck with fire table were a bonus! Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

Family visit

We have family who lives in this neighborhood. It was so helpful to be able to cook food in the kitchen and simply go up the street and spend more time with them. A few knives for chopping and dicing vegetables would be helpful - most were serrated edges that we found.

Just right!

We were very pleased with the comfort of this home. Property description is accurate. Lovely older home that is nicely updated. Location was great for our purpose in Rochester (funeral). Distance estimates to places of interest are correct. The home is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood which definitely felt good. So glad we rented his property.
