Lost Ridge Lodge is a beautiful, light-filled contemporary mountain home located high on a ridge with incredible westerly views. Massive timbers, views from every room, 2 great rooms, three furnished outdoor gathering spots, fire pit, propane grill and weber kettle, fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, awesome huge game room (pool table, foosball, regulation length shuffleboard table and ping pong), 2 wood burning fireplaces - and we’re pet friendly! Ideal for families, we have a large children's room that sleeps 8 in twin trundle beds with en-suite bath. Wander our private roads and grassy paths while you take in breathtaking views in every direction. We are 15 minutes to Boone and 30 -40 minutes to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, golf, Tweetsie Railroad, ski resorts, fishing, rafting, hiking, zip lining, horseback riding and all the beauty, charm and fun the High Country has to offer.

*** CONSTRUCTION NOTICE *** A home is being built next door, and construction sometimes lapses for months. If you book with us and your trip is affected by construction activity, we will refund you 25% of the nightly rate and tax.

Our comfortable beds are outfitted with luxury 400TC, single ply, long staple cotton Pizuna sheets and down pillows (down alternative available too.). Children’s beds have cotton flannel sheets in cooler months. We provide big, thirsty Egyptian cotton bath sheets (bath towels in the children’s bath) in each bath and lots of cozy throws all over the house. We also provide shower gel, makeup removing towelettes, basic pantry items, all paper products including foil, baggies, etc., laundry and dishwashing detergent, firewood, fat wood fire starter and propane for the grill.

For the little ones, we have a pack n play, crib, high chair, 2 boosters, rolling play chair, potty chair, and full size folding stroller with big wheels for our gravel roads. For pet owners, we have bowls, 2 dog beds, various sized crates if your pet is crate trained, and “emergency” dog and puppy shampoo (we have ponds!), dog wipes, cleanup bags, hiking water bowl and pet stain/odor remover.

If you plan to stay during the snowy months, we highly recommend 4WD and possibly chains on your wheels. We do our very best to accommodate for the winter weather, but there are no reimbursements if your plans have to change due to the weather.
