Beautiful house with amazing views of the bay. Kitchen is great with lots of prep space for cooking for a big group - including 2 ovens and 2 sinks. We also loved having suites for the various couples in our group and plenty of hang out space.

The house was amazing! Beautiful views of foggy Bodega Bay, the kitchen is huge with two of everything for really great cooking for bigger parties, bedrooms galore with multiple king beds that can be shared, couches that were extremely comfortable on top of that. I had a group of 12 single adults and everyone was extremely comfy the whole time. The garage is huge with a great ping pong table, the hot tub was hot and amazing in the weather. Everything was very clean, the check in and check out was painless, and price was very fair. Will definitely be keeping this in mind for future big group get togethers!!!

The house was big to hold our large group but most importantly the host had excellent communication and checked in during our stay multiple times to make sure we were good. The face that there were two of everything in the kitchen was so useful!!

We celebrated my daughter's sweet 16 birthday with a group of her friends and a few mom chaperones and had a fun and relaxing weekend there. The house is very spacious and has a dining table and kitchen large enough to host a group of 12. We enjoyed the downstairs theater, hot tub, and pool table. We had enough space, that I slept well in a bed far from the girls chatting and giggling late into the night. The hiking trails nearby were nice for getting out and one leads to a beach that seems to be only accessible by that trail, so there weren't many people there. We saw deer and quail from the windows and nice views of the ocean. I really appreciated the large and well-equiped kitchen when we prepped a big birthday dinner. There are two stoves, two ranges, and two sinks and we made use of them all! The girls enjoyed making drinks from the espresso machine in the morning. Checking in and out was very simple and we had no issues. Communication with the host was clear and prompt. We enjoyed eating at the nearby Fishetarian the first night and I went back the next day and bought some delicious fresh fish for our big dinner. I highly recommend this place for a big family get together or large group of friends. It s a clean, bright, quiet, and relaxing place to stay.

Amazing views and home.

House was plenty big enough for our large party. Layout allowed social time together as well as privacy when needed. Everything was clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely Christmas at Switch Hosto. Everything was as described in the listing and the amenities were excellent for a family gathering with lots of cooking and hanging out.

Beautiful Seaside Getaway

My group of friends has been traveling together for almost 20 years, and this was one of the most relaxing + restorative trips yet. Gorgeous property, beautiful weather. and a fantastic kitchen for our large group. This is a must-stay if like me, your friends are family - and you need a big house to stay together!

We loved this house! It is so well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation. We played ping pong, pool and hot tub and enjoyed all the fun provided in this lovely home. The trails to the beach were a big hit with the kiddos. The views are beautiful from most every room. A perfect house to vacation in and the owner was so easy to communicate with. I give it at 10/10.

Million Dollar views

Beautiful home. Absolutely stunning views of the ocean from all the rooms. LOVED that house had pool table and separate ping pong table for us adults to enjoy. Owner communication was 100%. VERY easy check in.

Great Place for a Family Get Together

Husband and wife, all three kids and 2 spouses, and all four grand kids spent a wonderful week at Switi Hoso. The location is wonderful and the house was perfect for us. The fact that there were two stoves, two dish washers, two refrigerators made it easy for each family to prepare their own meals, The pool table, ping pong table, and loads of games gave plenty of opportunities for small group fun activities. This place is ideal for a relaxing family vacation!

Family trip to the Coast

Beautiful location, property and home. You can see from the Tomalas Bay inlet to North if the Bodega Head from a good vantage. There is a lot of space to either spread out or hang out in the living room and pool room. The double kitchen was wonderful and made meal prep a breeze. Super easy travel from this central location.

Our stay at Switi Hoso was wonderful. The photos on VRBO don’t do the home justice. It is beautiful with incredible ocean views and so much natural light. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and Ward, the property owner, gave us clear instructions and great communication throughout our stay.The kids especially loved the theater room, which gave them their own space to watch movies while the adults relaxed. The bedrooms were large and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone.We had such a great time here and would love to stay again.

Excellent experience!!

My family and I were celebrating my father in-laws 70th birthday. The house was perfect for the 11 of us and really enjoyed the trails to the beach. We got some good exercise and strength training walking the hills and the trails!! I haven’t been to Bodega in over 11 years so didn’t know what to expect, but we all had a fantastic time kids and adults!! Great location and views!! Highly recommend this home!!

Oldest son turned 40

We had an amazing time. Everything was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there for the kitchen and entertainment. It was a little longer than a 10 minute walk to the beach and my husband with back issues could not make that walk/hike. But the small children made it easily and we enjoyed every minute!

Thanks for the review! I’m sorry to hear that the county-maintained trail to the beach was a hassle for your husband. Feel free to reach out to the Sonoma country parks, trail maintenance as I do every year. (I had to remove the parks email as it is against VRBO rules). For next time, there’s a well-maintained asphalt path by the HOA to Duran Beach by ‘The Links at Bodega Harbor’. It’s just a 3-minute drive away, so it’s super easy to get there.

Girls Weekend

We rented the house for my birthday weekend. There were 12 women. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was perfect for cooking for a large group! Communication with Ward was clear and easy…even if I was slow to respond (sorry Ward!).

What an amazing 4th of July weekend at Switi Hoso. The views were amazing from every part of the house. Fully stocked with anything you might need. Plenty of towels, extra beach chairs for the beach, which was a nice quick walk away. Would highly recommend anyone to book this amazing house. By far the best house in Bodega Bay that I have stayed at. Thank you!
