and is only checked in extreme cases.

Great stay

There were some minor issues during our stay, but the owner quickly reacted and got things all figured out! The home was beautiful and had a nice yard area to play games and hang out. High recommend this for your next stay!

What a great stay! The house was very roomy and a beautiful setting.

We had a few minor issues and the host was easily and quickly available. Everything was resolved, we will go back for concerts at Spac.

Guys weekend at the track

A great relaxing stay for our “guys weekend” at the track. From grilling out on the deck to poker night at the table to the ease of getting back and forth to the horse races, the house was perfect for us. I highly recommend it.

The house was in need of a little TLC, and the host was tremendous at acknowledging our notes in the app. We had some issues which bothered us. The cold water was brown bot they provided a water dispenser for drinking water. That water ran out on us before we left with no refills on hand. There was a very strong sulphur smell when you ran the hot water. The owner said that there was nothing he could do it's just how it is at that house. No showers on day 1. On night 2 we emptied the hot water heater by opening all the faucets. The sulphur smell was just about gone and we had showers on day 3. Sulphur back again the next day..no showers on final day. The MBR ceiling fixture had about 4 of 16 candelabra bulbs working. It was impossible to see in the room. I reported that on day one, bulbs were left on the front porch the next afternoon, but no one came to install them.

Thank you for your feedback and for acknowledging our responsiveness throughout your stay. We made every effort to address items as quickly as possible. The home is on a private well, which is typical for the Saratoga area. As noted in our listing, mineral content can occasionally cause a sulfur-like odor in the hot water. While this is not harmful, we understand it may be unfamiliar to some guests. We did provide a drinking water dispenser as an alternative source of clean water during your stay. Regarding the drinking water, we were notified at 7:30pm on the evening prior to checkout that the supply had run out. Given the timing, our ability to coordinate a same-night refill of 5-gallon water jugs was limited, but we would have gladly replenished it with more notice. We also responded promptly to the lighting concern by delivering replacement bulbs the following day. In many cases, guests prefer minimal intrusion during their stay, so we provide items like this for quick resolution without entering the home. We were not made aware that you were unable or uncomfortable installing the bulbs, and we would have been happy to arrange assistance had that been communicated. We strive to be responsive, transparent, and accommodating, and we encourage guests to review listing details and communicate needs as early as possible during their stay so we can best assist.

Perfect Fall Location

This was the perfect spot for two families with young children to have an amazing fall weekend in upstate NY. Convenient access to downtown Saratoga Springs and other outdoor activities. Property was clean, private, and beautiful. And of course I loved having access to the outdoor fire pit. Would highly recommend this place, and may even come back next year! Five stars.
