There's a ski locker on the hot tub deck (the second door) which is opened with the house keys.
Hot tub is not running in the summer.. It could be opened with an extra fee of $200.
The hot tub is shared with the adjoining suite "Eagle's nest" which can be rented together with the "Bear's Den" if more space is needed.

Overall we were very pleased with the condo - it was clean, well equiped, nicely located, spacious, etc. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had a great time and we love Silver Star. Ski out was great and easy, only a short walk to the slopes, ski in required a bit more work as you had to make your way to the base of the Silver Queen lift. Minor issues: we suggest investing in a new coffee pot and providing some pot scrubbing pads.
The house seemed to have everything we needed as we prepared dinner there several nights during our stay. We walked no more than 20 yards before we were able to put our skis on to ski into the village.
The check is was easy, nice to have access to the garage especially with the big dump of snow- we didn't have to clean off a vehicle. Very well, the kitchen was extremely stocked which is always a huge worry for what will be available when travelling with small children and cooking.
The beds were comfortable and the house was nice and quiet.
We will definitely be reaching out next time we want to come to Silverstar.
We stayed as two families with two young children each. So a total of 8, and didn't feel cramped at all. This is an amazing place. Highly recommended.
Amazing location and property for a family ski trip. Great location. Fantastic ski in ski out. Right next to tubing. Great for two families with 5 kids to spread out over the two units. Ideal!
We really enjoyed the large living areas and well-equipped kitchen. One concern is that the 3rd bedroom on the lower level has no window for egress in case of emergency. I don't think this meets the building code for a sleeping room.
The location of the property was great, right at the top of the Silver Queen lift. We stayed in the Bear's Den for three nights and it was very clean when we arrived which was nice. Lots of room for lounging and a great big kitchen with plenty of counter space and a big round table. The hot tub was great after skiing., lots of towels for everyone to use which was a bonus. The path between houses to get you to and from the top of the Silver Queen lift was very snowy and would be difficult to use for some people. Overall a nice place to stay.

About the host
Hosted by Angie Quinton
We are a family who loves adventure and have traveled to many parts of the world! Every year we have tried to see a new country and we never let having young children stop us. As a large family we fell in love with vacation rentals as a great way to travel comfortably.
Why they chose this property
This year we decided to become hosts of our own vacation rental. We partnered with my dad and step mom and decided to buy a recreational property in order to be able to continue making fun memories despite not being able to leave Canada for the foreseeable future! We chose this home because it is perfectly located on the ski hill with the best access to family fun and also challenging ski runs. We can't wait to enjoy the ski in and out access! We look forward to being able to provide a wonderful space for others to enjoy Silver Star mountain.
What makes this property unique
This home is wonderfully set up to be either 2 large separate suites, or by unlocking an interior door, one huge space for fun family get togethers!
