Red Sky Lake House - Tranquility at the lake!

You are sure to love this cozy lake front cottage. Whether you are sitting by the fire, watching the kids kayak across the cove or sipping a cocktail on the dock, it’s hard not to feel relaxed at Red Sky Lake House.

We have 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping space for 8 guests. This lake home sits on a beautiful wooded lot with 4 steps to the front door and the main house is all on one level with wrap-around decking on both the main level and basement level. It has 4 bedrooms, the primary suite has a king bed with an en-suite with jetted tub and separate shower. The first guest room includes a queen bed, the second guest room includes a full bed over looking the lake and the thirds guest room has 2 twin beds that can be made in to a king size bed with all bedding included. All bath towels, beach towels and bedding are included. Even dog towels are provided. (There is a pet fee of $120. If you have more than 2 pets please let us know so we can take that under advisement and if agreed upon, we will collect an additional pet fee.)

This cottage comes complete with a margarita machine, espresso machine, keurig, coffee pot, tons of games for the family, fire pit, bar-b-a grill, awesome porch and a large dock for fishing and boat parking. We have lots of fun water toys for rent as well, including 2 kayaks, large splash pad, 2 paddle boards and a 24ft. pontoon boat for rent! There is no shortage of fun here. You can even walk to a great lakeside restaurant with live music, karaoke and ice cream for the kids.

Upon request, we are happy to provide water toy rental pricing prior to your stay and offer discounted pricing for multiple day rentals as well.

Lakeside fall fun

We had a very nice stay at Lake Badin. We got to enjoy the fall colors both from the nice porches as well as from the pontoon boat. Great place!

This is a beautiful location and nicely maintained with many great amenities! The interior is beautifully decorated and the property sits on Badin Lake with great views and many outdoor adventure opportunities. Very relaxing and quiet this time of the year.

Perfect vacation retreat

Red Sky Lake House is the perfect vacation retreat. Every thing you could possibly want is supplied for a fun stay. From a fully stocked kitchen, to toiletries in every room, beach towels for lake swimming and floats to spend a lazy day relaxing. This is our second stay and are looking forward to our third.

Exceptional Home and Host

This lake house has everything you could want! Terra is a awesome host, quickly answering questions and making sure we knew everything needed for the home, boat, and lake. We rented all of the lake toys and used them all. It was wonderful to explore the lake on the boat, swim, float, paddleboard, bird watch, play 'large' jenga, make smores, and enjoy Lake Life!

Christmas Vacation

Our family met up here for a quiet Christmas getaway and we were not disappointed. This place was the perfect spot for our time together. The home was decorated for Christmas making it extra special and homey. It rained almost the whole time we were here but there was plenty to do in the house to keep us busy. The host is amazing and had several recommendations for things to do in the area. We also enjoyed the fire by the lake on the one night it didn’t rain. Highly recommend this spot!

The perfect house!

Our book club of five older women stayed here over the weekend. Our hostess, Terra, thought of everything one could possibly need. One of my friends said, "I feel so cared for." The view from the dock of the fall leaves was so pretty and peaceful. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the house was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed an outing to Gold Hill antique village. We hope to stay here again.

Our stay at Red Sky Lodge was nothing short of amazing. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. It slept 3 couples + 1 more adult very comfortably. Thumbs Up for Red Sky!

We made a last minute decision to book a lakehouse for a quick 5 day / 4 night getaway, and Red Sky was absolutely perfect. The property is located in a nice cove where you can watch the sun come up every morning out on the spacious deck. There was plenty of room at the dock for our boat, and the house was spacious, comfortable, and clean and had everything you need to enjoy some time away. Terra is great to work with, and everything in the home is in good working order. We would definitely rent again!

Dream getaway

This is an amazing property. Pack your favorite snacks, bathing suit and toiletries. Terra has everything else you will need there and available. House was immaculate, warm and welcoming.
