Fabulous Holiday

Due to the 2 properties in 1 arrangement, the villa worked really well for us as a family with teens and young adults. We were all able to get some privacy, whilst still enjoying a family holiday! High spec property. Very clean. All sheets and towels provided. Secret cutlery drawer took a bit of finding!! Electric BBQ was great. Property was well stocked with kitchen equipment/deck chairs etc Great views from rooftop terrace. Lovely restaurants to chose from in Giens, local walking trails from the villa and watersports. We didn't have a car on our holiday, but we didn't need one. The bus service to Hyeres was great too!!

Toller Urlaub, originelles cooles Haus

Wir hatten mit zwei verwandten Familien 4 Erwachsene und 4 Teenager/ junge Erwachsene zwei sehr schöne Urlaubswochen. Die Insel hat viele nette Badebuchten, die man auf schönen Wanderwegen mit fantastischer Aussicht entdecken kann. Zum Sandstrand ist es zu Fuß zu weit bis auf einen kleinen Ministrand neben dem kleinen Hafen 6 Minuten zu Fuß, was zum Schwimmen und AbkĂŒhlen auch schön ist. Das Haus ist so wie beschrieben. Die Treppen ( zu drei der SchlafrĂ€ume und auf die Terrasse) sind ganz schön steil, aber das sieht man auf den Bildern. Die phantastische Aussicht von der Terrasse aus lohnt sich aber. Kommunikation mit Vermieter und AurĂ©lie war unkompliziert.

Problematisch

Das Haus besteht in Wirklichkeit aus zwei kleinen, unabhĂ€ngigen HĂ€usern, die nur ĂŒber die Terrasse miteinander verbunden sind. Es gibt zwei separate EingĂ€nge und zwei separate KĂŒchen. Im Haupthaus gibt es ein Schlafzimmer mit einer GlasschiebetĂŒr und einen Spitzboden mit Matratzen. Im zweiten Haus befinden sich zwei kleine Schlafzimmer (ein Durchgangszimmer) auf dem Dachboden. Die Treppe ist eng und wackelig. Das Haus ist gut gelegen, sauber und besitzt eine kleine Dachterrasse mit einem tollen Ausblick. Der Stein-Garten ist gepflegt. Mit dem kraftlosen Zwei-Platten-Herd ist Kochen fĂŒr 8 Personen schwierig. Der Backofen ist in Ordnung. Es gibt nur einen SchlĂŒsselbund. Es wurde uns ein Beistell-Kinderbett ohne Matratze und Decke zur VerfĂŒgung gestellt. Wir mussten daher eine dĂŒnne Matratze vom Spitzboden mit einem Betttuch aus dem Schrank beziehen. FĂŒr dieses Bett haben wir auch eine Decke und Bezug aus dem Schrank genommen, was sich im Nachhinein noch als Fehler herausstellen sollte. Zwei Tage vor der Abreise haben wir Kontakt zur Vermieterin und der Hausverwalterin aufgenommen, um die Übergabe zu organisieren. Wir teilten mit, dass wir am Abreisetag frĂŒh Morgens aufbrechen wollten. Eine Antwort von der Verwalterin kam erst um 00:20 in der Nacht zum Abreisetag, wĂ€hrend wir am Schlafen waren. Da wir am frĂŒhen Morgen mit schlafenden Kindern die Abreise nicht weiter aufschieben wollten, haben wir den SchlĂŒssel hinterlegt, dies mitgeteilt und sind losgefahren. SpĂ€ter erreichten uns Nachrichten von der Vermieterin und der Verwalterin. Die Nachricht der Verwalterin enthielt, neben persönlichen Beleidigungen, eine Reihe von VorwĂŒrfen. Wir hĂ€tten zu viel Bettzeug und HandtĂŒcher verwendet. Beides war im Preis inbegriffen, fĂŒr uns war nicht erkennbar was man nicht verwenden darf. Dinge, die als privat gekennzeichnet waren, haben wir selbstverstĂ€ndlich nicht angerĂŒhrt. Außerdem hĂ€tten wir im Haus Sand hinterlassen. Wir haben Endreinigung bezahlt, regelmĂ€ĂŸig gesaugt und draußen gekehrt. Weiterhin wollte die Vermieterin uns die Schuld fĂŒr eine defekte Bambus-Beschattung hinter dem Haus in die Schuhe schieben. Diese wĂ€re bei Anreise nicht defekt gewesen und wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes wĂ€re nie Wind gewesen. Wir wissen nicht wann und wie es zu dem Schaden gekommen ist, aber es gab viel Wind mit bis zu 40 Knoten. Wer dieses Haus bucht, sollte vorsichtig sein und bei An- und Abreise den Zustand des Hauses lĂŒckenlos dokumentieren.
