We’ve recently replaced our property management team and have worked diligently to improve communication, including timely updates to ensure a smooth check-in experience. Melanie, Thanks for your review and staying with us! I apologize for the mishaps during your stay. Our team’s goal prior and during your stay is to ensuring you have a calm, clean, comfortable place for your family to call home. We experienced a series of unexpected events which occurred prior to your stay. This includes the ongoing delay of our hot tub (we discussed a month prior to your stay). Additionally, the front door was left open during -10 degree winds on the mountain. Our team has worked to refine our processes to ensure the house is at a comfortable temperature for our guests. Our property uses “smart technology” found in many newer homes like Nest Thermostats and a connected lighting system. As stated in the house guide, we strive for our guest to have a seamless experience. Limiting the need to adjust lights, heating / cooling. It appears we sent the house guide to you at the time of booking, failing to follow up with you to ensure receipt. The directions to the adjacent Ski Way (accessible from the south / rear of the property), the return from the top of chair 3, and how to use the smart devices is captured in our guide for the house. My family usually walks to the neighborhood trail (Home Again) 1 house down, about a 3-5 minute walk from the house. Thanks for your feedback!
