The property was welcoming, charming and cozy. We enjoyed the two kitchen areas for prepping our food, it had ample pans, utensils and plenty of dishes. We loved the outdoor areas…front porch and deck off the back. So many things to love. I would stay there again.

The place was very historic and nice in that regard. The bathroom situation was odd in that the two bathrooms with showers were downstairs with two bedrooms and upstairs was one bathroom, with only tub along with three bedrooms. The location was great for walking downtown and the yard was nice.

Our stay at this VRBO was excellent. The younger children enjoyed the play option and adults loved the front deck. The owners were accommodating and easier to work with. We would gladly stay again and recommend the space to any friends.

Great stay

This was a wonderful property to stay at – beautiful, clean, centrally located, well stocked, and excellent hosts! We were traveling with elderly parents and small children, and this property worked well for all of us!

Heavenly Historic Home

Wonderful property for families or friends wanting a getaway in a very “homey” location! Loved this place for a three couple visit for Lewistown’s Centerfest Music Festival.

Amazing accommodations

Plenty of space for our large family who was all in town for State Softball. Made our stay even more enjoyable to be all together and have the space to feed our high school softball team. I highly recommend this location.

Pre Easter Family Trip

This is a grand old house and the owners are great hosts. They take wonderful care of the property and respond to any questions quickly. The house is a stately old Lewistown house. The best part is the porch! We all sat out there every evening and even enjoyed a major thunder storm while on the porch one night, without getting really wet.The house is well kept and has a brand new kitchen. We highly recommend “The Governor’s House” and it’s proprietors. .
