Previously known as Three Mangos, Be As You Are Villa has been a favorite vacation home for many St John lovers. A spacious well designed floor plan with an open concept perfect for entertaining or relaxing with your family after a long day at Trunk Bay. Air conditioning throughout the entire home with individual controls of the temperature in each bedroom keeps you comfortable and cool. You truly get the best of both worlds at Be As You Are: while offering our guests some of the best views of the island’s sunsets, green hillsides and turquoise waters, you are still only a short walk to town where there are incredible restaurants, shopping and nightlife! The wrap around balcony is the perfect space to feel the ocean breeze while enjoying the incredible views of the Caribbean Sea. The pool deck is just steps away from your front door making it a unique poolside property. You are high enough for amazing views and just low enough to hear the waves crashing below. Your island paradise awaits!

A perfect retreat

We had an amazing time staying at Be As You Are. Beautiful, clean, and an excellent location. Lots of space for our family of five, and great for kids (ours are 7, 5, and 16 months). Property managers were very communicative and kind- we hope to be back soon!

Great place to stay!

We had 9 people on vacation in this rental, my mom got married in st john. This house was the best, had everything you could need and then some! The lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly if i ever come back id stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay!

We had an amazing time staying at “Be As You Are.” The location was perfect. Close to the grocery store and restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked and had more than we were expecting. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were set up perfectly. The villa definitely made our trip perfect!

We went to a family wedding, went to beaches, hiking, exploring. The views from Mango Terrace are sensational.We felt very much at home there. Easy walk to town.Plenty of room for all of us. Our liaison person was very helpful and friendly.

Missing Be As You Are!

Our family of five enjoyed the perfect five night stay at Be As You Are. This villa had everything we needed from beach supplies, kitchen supplies, toiletries, linens, the list goes on!!! We loved the decor and view from the balcony. My cousin and her family stayed in a different unit so the pool area was a fun spot to hang out and our villa was big enough to accommodate all 11 of us!I would 100% recommend this villa for all listed above as well as the great location!!! Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful Property with Top Notch Care

Seven of us stayed at the property for a 40th birthday trip. The unit was gorgeous and a great size. The location was close to downtown Cruz Bay and had a beautiful pool perfect for watching sunsets. The hosts also went above and beyond to make it a perfect stay!

Beautiful villa and quite large

Very clean and large villa. Quiet location with good views. Bedding was very nice as were the mattresses. Kitchen had all things necessary. Parking was very challenging

Incredible villa and experience!

The villa was so nice and comfortable for our group of 9 including 2 families. Spacious and accommodating with privacy if desired. The decorations and included amenities were incredibly thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Communication was top notch! Great recommendation for our local taxi friend, RICKY! The hill was no joke but manageable for our entire party, young and old. Loved it - thank you!!

Late Jan ‘24 vacay

Our family and guests really enjoyed the villa and its location in Cruz Bay. Close to restaurants and shops and fun to navigate the hills. Check-in was efficient and all in our party loved the unit. Each had rooms and plenty of space to feel comfortable. Great ocean and sunset views. We would love to come back! Thank you to the owners and property managers.

Loved it!

This is our second year staying at this villa and it truly has everything you need! The only downfall if you're not in shape the hill is a bit exhausting but we're ok with it. Other than that, the villa is perfect!

10/10 stay, perfect distance from the night life of Cruz Bay. They aren’t lying about the hill! My group ranged from 23-25 and we still had some trouble some nights. The property managers were great and got me contact information to a local taxi service which was $6 each to get us from Cruz Bay to the VRBO, can’t argue with that. All in all, a great stay and would 100% do it again!

Such a fun stay!

This villa had everything we could need for 6 adults and 2 kids (ages 3 & 4). Updated and clean. The pool was great and right down the steps of our front door. View was amazing. And we love the location. The hill was too steep for the kids to walk to town , but the adults could walk down. We always got a taxi back up :) the property managers were great and so easy to communicate with. We will stay here again!

Be As You Are Villa was Amazing

We had another fantastic stay on St. John, this time bringing a few friends who were visiting for the first time. We chose this property because of its convenient, walkable location to Cruz Bay, making it easy to enjoy dinner, drinks, and shopping without the need to worry about parking. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The pool was a big hit with the kids, and the four bedrooms provided more than enough space for our group of seven. The host was very helpful, and the check-in process and communication were seamless. We would definitely stay here again! Also, this property had two washers and two dryers (not shared with other units) that came in super handy for towels and clothes.

Strong legs required

Great property and experience.... the hill it is on was very difficult to manage walking and driving for some of us less-than-fit seniors. Not for the faint of heart. Otherwise a great place.... nice quiet neighborhood the week we were there.

Everything you need

From the moment we booked they were responsive. Prior to us departing for vacation Kelly connected with us and offered to book our ferry (which we already did but wow if I knew) the Villa literally has everything you need. Honestly everything was perfect. The only downfall for some of our family was the the hill. It’s steep and if you’re not in shape it’s a lot but didn’t both us too much. Would definitely book here again!

Excellent villa

This villa has EVERYTHING you need! From beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, toys, umbrella. We didn’t need a thing. We actually brought entirely too much because we’ve never stayed in a VRBO that had all the amenities as home. Property was very clean, with comfy beds, 2 washers and dryers (reason we shouldn’t of brought so much), stocked kitchen with everything you need including spices. The ONLY negative thing I could say was the hill is atrocious!!!! I’ve never seen anything like it…. But EVERY location is on steep hills. You won’t be disappointed!

A week in paradise!

From the moment you wake up, this property gives you every feeling of paradise. The gorgeous views of the island from every window combined with the beautiful decor and comfortable furniture of the house was absolutely amazing. We went for our sisters wedding, and 9 adults stayed so comfortably in this home. There were plenty of towels, blankets, toiletries, and anything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The beautiful deck overlooking the bay and the pool had us relaxing no matter what we were doing. The location of this home was perfect! We were less than a 10 minute walk from downtown Cruz Bay, which meant that we never had to worry about parking. We were also a very short drive (or a longer walk) from the grocery store, which was so convenient! Additionally, I can't say enough kind things about Shelli, the property owner, and Kelly, the property manager. When needed, they were both so responsive and helpful. Shelli specifically worked with us to ensure we would have a successful visit, even during the craziness of Covid-19. She kept us up to date on the travel restrictions as they were developing, ensuring we could travel without any problems. I would recommend this property to anyone, and if I travel with a large group again, I will absolutely look to stay here. Thank you for making the trip of a lifetime that much better!

It has been a dream come true to own a piece of paradise on our favorite little island in the Caribbean. We hope you enjoy your stay in our island home away from home. St John is truly a magical, special place!

Location, location, location! Waking up in the heart of Cruz Bay yet still being in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood is ultimately what sold us on this property. The sunset views are incredible and we absolutely love being close to the water. You can snorkel at Turner Bay and Frank Bay Beaches, which are only a 5 minute walk away!
