Great place, TERRIBLE Communication
We absolutely loved the property. The two bedrooms are a bit small, but for an up north cabin a lot of room isn't necessary. The only thing that knocks down my rating is how terrible the level of communication was with the rental owner. When we went to check in I still had not heard from her even two hours prior to check-in. Her voicemail was full. I contacted VRBO Customer Service and the owner finally texted me. I contacted her several times during our stay for trivial things. She wouldn't answer for hours, one time it was even an entire day later. If I had had any sort of emergency or real need it would have went unfulfilled. Extremely unprofessional.

Beautiful Home!
Such a beautiful vacation home that came with everything you might need and more! Was just a short walk to the beach, although we did decide to drive since we had so much we wanted to lug. Michele was so quick to communicate with me, as well. Would definitely stay here again!

We purchased this property at auction and rebuilt from studs and created a home that we love to spend time in! It has been created with love and hard labor from us. Roger is a handyman and I am the willing partner who assisted in the hard labor of love to create this home. Two additions were added from the original property. We finished it with premium touches to bring it into the 21 century. We had one of the original builders stop by last year and gave us history from 1972 of the property. We are lifetime Michigan residents who want to maintain the Michigan shoreline and water wonderland.

Why they chose this property

Just enough nature and privacy surrounding property, but plenty of activity to keep it interesting with children and families in nearby cottages on Trail Road. Wonderful neighbors. Caseville has the small town atmosphere except during Cheeseburger Festival! Love the Saturday morning farmers market in Port Austin.

What makes this property unique

Memories of great visits, fire pit conversations, song and laughs! This is your story that you make, we just provide the venue! One more fun stop on your journey of life!
