The property was clean and well equipped for our 4 night stay. The owner has thought carefully about guests' needs and comfort. However, we were disappointed that there was not central air, as one bedroom had no cooling system. The remote location was great for our dog to be able to play and the place is super close to downtown area and public beach. Overall, we were happy with our mini vacation to Caseville!

Close to town and the city beach. Was surprised it was a mobile home. Heavily wooded and dark at night. No central air.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
This is not a cottage, it is a single wide trailer, location is not great, down a dirt road. No central air, rather 2 separate portable air conditioners. Place is old, has musty smell. Kitchen is small, no dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and 1 air conditioner is located in the bedroom. Would not rent this unit.
Clean mobile home with additional small cottage rental unit connected to mobile home's mud room
Home was clean and comfortable. Beautiful watercolor artwork by owner throughout the mobile home. The heron paintings on the wooden dining room table are incredible! Kitchen and bathroom areas were well supplied. Appreciated individual air conditioning unit in one bedroom and living room area, as well as access to two standing fans. However, home's listing led me to believe that there was central air. After the heavy rain, the smell from the septic tank was noticeable but mostly bearable with windows open. We tried to spend the sunny days outside the rental unit. Would have appreciated a ceiling fan in the kitchen during the extreme hot July weather. Would also have appreciated knowing that the mud room is connected to another small rental cottage unit, so it is not a single home unit technically. Dryer was slow in drying some clothes/ towels. Water pressure is good. Backyard area is big, and the owner kindly put up a canopy over the picnic area for the hot afternoon sun. There is also a swing set for young children. There is a big tree for nice shade in the late afternoon. Next door neighbors have many many cats. (We counted 12.) Beautiful lush green forest area next to part of backyard. Quiet and peaceful family area overall. Parking area can accommodate several cars. Check-in was easy; did not need to communicate with property manager during the stay.
