We loved this little cottage, super cute and easy to stay here. Great fenced yard for dogs too, our pups loved running around in it.Overall a great stay
No detail left out! Linen sheets, beautiful light fixtures, lovely yard perfect for our dog and all you need for a short stay. Will definitely be back!
Such a sweet little cottage in the cutest neighborhood. So quiet and cozy! We stayed just one night with our two small dogs while on a road trip. The house had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for our pups, and as beekeepers we appreciated the pollinator friendly landscaping. I do wish the bed had regular sheets on it, the ones we had were woven and somewhat scratchy.
Well overall not a bad stay, but we ran into a few issues. We did reach out to the property owner before leaving a review and all we got was a “Thank You”. Not looking for a refund, but perhaps a little more of a response considering we gave the opportunity to do so before the review.
First would be the ac. They had two ac units that had to run 100% of the time we were there. I get it if the home is older and I understand that Boose is hot. However the unit above the bed had the “clean filter” light on. And it wasn’t lying. The filter was packed and the coils were packed. All right above your head in the bed. Probably not helping the efficiency.
Next, there was 1 bath towel for the whole place. They are listed as being available in the ad. At that rate it was shoved in the top of the closet.
Bikes are also listed in the ad and they need some attention. Had to pump the tires u, not a huge deal. However the fender was falling off so not a great ride.
They also have a grill listed and that is also not available.
There are two windows that have zero shades. Clear shot into the entire unit minus the bathroom. So not a lot of privacy on the aspect.
Location was convenient and easy access to DT Boise. Ann Morison park is 100% worth checking out.
Was it the worst stay ever? No. Would I recommend. No. Owner just doesn’t seem to be too attentive. Again we tried to give the feedback before hand but I think the lack of response reflects the lack of attention to this s.
My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights, and it was perfect. Great fenced in yard for dogs, great location and it had everything you need. Thanks for the great stay!
We stayed over night at this cute little pad and it was wonderful. We just wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back to visit. We love that it was doggie friendly and we brought our 10month old.
I really enjoyed my week long stay here. The cottage is small and cozy. Comfortable bed and linens. Nice thoughtful decor and all the amenities you would hope for.
Communication with the host was perfect. I didn’t have any issues that needed attention but Alicia checked in before during and after through the VRBO App so I felt well cared for.
It was over 100° each day and the cottage gets a lot of direct sun, but inside stayed comfortable with dual a/c units running.
The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet, and everything felt close by and within a short drive.
Great experience and highly recommended!
I love Boise and it was great to have such a cute spot to stay in on our way through. Really loved the refurbishment of the home, normally I dislike the boring-ification of old homes, but the fixtures, decor, and setup was really nicely done- I love the color, the gold fixtures, and the wood! Refreshing to stay in a place with some classy character! The backyard is lovely and was a great place for our pups to stretch their legs, and if we were there longer we would've loved to use the bikes and other things provided to guests. My one feedback/ qualm is that it would be great to have blinds/ curtains on *all* windows. There is a window over the kitchen counter/ table by the back door that looks straight at the bed and it made me uncomfortable to not be able to really close out the eyes of neighbors. Otherwise, great spot and would definitely stay again!
We would have really given this a great rating on “cuteness”, but there were a couple of key things that really made the stay less than ideal. First, the place is a studio and two windows had no window coverings which let in lots of morning light and allowed an uncomfortable direct view into the bed area from the side of the house. The other thing was the bedding was better suited for winter - flannel sheets and down comforter. It was 101 degrees one day and the portable air conditioner could not cut that heat. Even after running it all afternoon we had to go to bed at 11:30 and it was 86 degrees in the room. Unbearable. Sorry to say, we wouldn’t rent this again…
