It’s always homey and cozy at Dee’s place. She has anticipated her guests’ needs right down to the luggage stand in the closet and bowls for the dog. The very best thing is the porch on a sunny morning, which most of them are in Kingston.
Great cabin, very comfortable, has everything you need for a nice stay. Very clean and well kept up. Beautiful area, nice and peaceful. This was our second time here and we had a nice snowy few days and a few clear days. We love this area and the cabin.

Fantastic cabin in a quiet, beautiful area of Nevada. Located at the entrance to Kingston Canyon, this is a great launching point for hiking, hot springs, exploring, fishing, etc.
This rental is super cute and clean. The Lucky Spur Saloon is a short walk away and the owners are very friendly, too!
This is our third stay here. A lovely cabin and great host. Each time here makes us want to stay longer.
We definitely will be back. The area is beautiful and quite too. The cabin has a great front porch overlooking a pond. We enjoyed our morning breakfast out on the porch listening to the stream next to the cabin and the birds chirping. This is a great place to come relax and enjoy the views
We had a wonderful time exploring Kingston Canyon and Austin. It’s so beautiful and peaceful out here! Also, thank you for the dog treats, Archie loved them!
Thank you again for everything!

Thank you for your review. If you had such a great time, why a 4 for a review. What was t he issue?
This place was exactly what I visualized for my self-motivated artist residency. I got a lot of work done and didn’t have anything to worry about. Everything wieked
5 days in Kingston was so much more than one would expect. We took many walks in and around town, climbing elevations onto Boot Hill and other places to enjoy spectacular views. We drove past the campground to the lake for more hiking. Deer paid visits to the nearby fields every night. The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen very workable, and the Lucky Spur Saloon next door was a nice place to grab a drink, and even get things like cheese or ice cream from their cooler and freezer. Which is great, since the nearest grocery is 40 minutes away. Tried to sample the hot springs but the road was a little too washed out for our comfort level with a rental car. About an hour+ east is the town of Eureka, an interesting little hamlet with historic buildings, several retail amenities, and the ghost town on Ruby Hill. Dee is an excellent communicator, the house and property are spectacular. Listening to the creek from the porch is magical, as is the view of mountains all around. The park/playground up the road was a fun diversion for the kids(even though they're 13 and 14), with more deer there as well most every evening. If we didn't live across the country in New England, I would absolutely make this a regular trip.

We're so glad you had a great stay. We always enjoy hosting people who like to get out and enjoy what Kingston and the great outdoors has to offer.
This is a terrific property, with great decor (wife LOVED the pillows). It was clean and well equipped for cooking. For those looking to get away for a break from the everyday stress of life, this is the place. Just be sure to plan ahead on your food, gasoline, and other provisions. Eureka, about 70 miles away (one way) has a great supermarket/hardware store.
We look forward to returning.
