Located 8 km from both Amboise and 12 km from the Château de Chenonceau, in a beautiful wooded area surrounded by vineyards and castles, our charming cottage with a wood-burning fireplace, in the heart of the Loire Valley, is the perfect place to explore the region and unwind.<br>Accommodation<br>This charming, rustic 2-bedroom chalet with a fireplace, nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley, is ideal for families, groups of friends, or those seeking a romantic getaway. The chalet is equipped with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and everything you’ll need. You’ll also enjoy dining on the terrace, where you’ll find a stone barbecue. The garden features a ping-pong table, as well as a children’s play area with a large trampoline (which can also be used to stay in shape!) and bicycles so you can explore the beauty of this part of the Loire Valley. Whether you’d like to spend time exploring the splendour of Amboise—with its magnificent castle and Leonardo da Vinci’s house—or the châteaux of Chenonceau, Chambord, Cheverny, and Villandry, or whether you’d prefer to discover and taste the wonderful wines of the Loire Valley (Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon), the heart of this magnificent countryside will not disappoint you.<br><br>Surrounded by tranquility and nature, you can relax and discover the heart of the French countryside.<br>Guest Access<br>Located 8 km from both Amboise and 12 km from the Château de Chenonceau, our charming chalet is nestled in the middle of 9,000 m² of beautiful forest with a private entrance. You’ll have access to the surrounding area and enjoy a private terrace and plenty of outdoor space for dining and games, with free access to a ping-pong table, a dartboard, bicycles, and an area where you can enjoy a game of pétanque. Access to the vineyards is very easy from the back of the property, making it perfect for incredible walks.<br>A supply of firewood is available for the fireplace.<br>Those who enjoy cycling will be delighted to discover the many trails in the surrounding area.<br>Other notes<br>Breakfast is not included, but we provide the basics (jam, tea, coffee, hot chocolate).<br><br>We have pets on the property: a small dog, 2 cats, and 7 free-range chickens. If you’re bringing a dog, please let us know in advance, as the dog must be accustomed to free-range chickens.<br><br>Our bedding consists of feathers and goose down. If you are allergic to feathers, please let us know in advance so we can remove the double duvet from the double room.
