Beautiful landscapes await you in the heart of Poland and Central Europe. The hospitable owners of this charming house will help make your stay in the forests, fields and rivers of Central Poland an unforgettable experience.

The village of NOWA WOLA (municipality of Rusiec, Łódź Voivodeship) is located 70 km south-west of Łódź, 135 km east of Wroclaw and 200 km west of Warsaw.

The house was built in the 1950s from larch wood and insulated with reeds. Plastered on the inside. Original wooden windows and wooden floors + wooden veranda.
The wood comes from the old church in the neighbouring village of Wola Wiazowa.

The house consists of a dining-living area (with a fold-out sofa) with a fireplace + a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed.
There is also a small second bedroom with a bunk bed for 2 people. This bedroom (about 7 square metres in size) can be accessed directly from the terrace (so to use the bathroom, you have to go from the terrace back into the house, which might not be ideal in winter for people who often have to go to the bathroom at night).
This room itself is heated.

Next to the living-dining room (which is a walk-through room - on the way to the bedroom) - there is a bathroom with shower and toilet (renovated in 2016). Extra heating available in the bathroom.

In the dining-living area: a fully equipped kitchen (although - without a dishwasher), refrigerator, 4-burner gas stove, enough dishes and cutlery.
A TV is available.

It is possible to rent fishing rods (also incl.)

Bicycles can be rented for a small fee (10 EUR per bicycle once/for the duration of your stay).
You can also buy fresh milk (directly from the cow) + homemade quark + fresh eggs (from our own free-range chickens).

Horse riding – approx. 25 EUR/hour can be organised with us or at the neighbouring riding school (approx. 4 km from us): www.stajniapodaniolem.pl

leuk rustig gelegen huisje op het platteland

Tof huisje met 2 kamers, waarvan 1 met toegang via het overdekte terras. Alles was in orde (keuken, badkamer met warme douche, kamers). Grote omheinde privétuin met absolute privacy en uitzicht op de velden. Eieren en kaas (3 dagen op voorhand te bestellen want moet klaargemaakt worden) kunnen bij de eigenares, die tegenover het huisje woont, besteld worden. Praktische informatie over het huisje en de omgeving werd doorgemaild daags na aankomst. Er was wel een misverstand bij de boeking ontstaan : alhoewel de boeking geaccepteerd werd en ik een betalingsbewijs ontvangen had, werden we tgv een misverstand niet verwacht ter plaatse (ze dachten dat ik louter om informatie gevraagd had ipv een definitieve boeking had uitgevoerd). Via een mailtje of telefoontje op voorhand was dit vermoedelijk niet gebeurd, maar dat had ik niet gedaan. Bij onze aankomst rond 21u kon ik de eigenaren gelukkig wel nog bereiken en hebben ze de kamers dadelijk in orde gebracht (de tijd die dit in beslag nam hebben we nuttig gebruikt om iets te gaan eten dus hebben we hier eigenlijk weinig hinder door ondervonden). Een extra plus, zeker in de koude en natte periode dat wij hier te gast waren, is de verzorgde sauna met klein zwembad en jacuzzi die privé kan afgehuurd worden, op voorhand aan te vragen bij de eigenares. Klein nadeel voor ons was dat er niet zo veel eetgelegenheden in de directe omgeving te vinden waren (toch telkens minstens half uurtje rijden). Wij hadden wel een kleine barbecue meegebracht zodat we niet elke dag uit eten moesten (we hadden natuurlijk ook op het gasfornuis kunnen koken als we gewild hadden).

einfach herrlich erholsam

Wer Ruhe und Erholung ohne Ablenkung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben wunderschöne Tage über den Jahreswechsel verbracht. Lagerfeuer, Sternenhimmel, Spaziergänge und ein Holzofen, der es herrlich kuschelig gemacht hat. Sehr nette Vermieter, tolle Nachbarn. ...hier drehen sich die Uhren einfach langsamer!

Wir haben hier im August eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Vermieter herzlich ,Umgebung ruhig ...herrliche Natur. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub mit Erholungsgarantie machen möchte,ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Country Retreat

We had a great pleasure staying at this house. The house is perfect for experiencing and exploring the traditional Polish countryside. Set away from touristy and congested cities, it is located in a small, quiet village surrounded by fields and farms, which supply fresh produce, milk, eggs and poultry if desired. There are wonderful family-run bakeries and restaurants nearby, where we enjoyed delicious homemade, traditional dishes and specialties. In a short driving distance from the house, there is a large blueberry farm, which seasonally sells freshly picked berries. Our children especially enjoyed kayaking in the local river and fishing in the nearby pond. The house is comfortable for a family of four. One of 2 bedrooms is adjacent to the house and can be entered only from outside through a separate entrance. The house is well kept, clean and decorated in an Eastern European country tradition. It is equipped with all necessary things for food preparation. We all especially enjoyed the big back yard, which proved space for playing ball and running around during the day and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows at night. A great convenience for us was that the house owners live across the street from the house. Because they have basic English, it was easy to communicate with them. They were friendly, attentive and accommodating hosts always available to provide information and help when needed. They made us feel like we were part of their family. We hope to stay in the house again in the future.

Ruhe, Ruhe, Ruhe........

Wir haben in dieser Unterkunft zusammen mit meinem Mann, 2 Kindern und unserem Hund fantastische 4 Tage in April 2017 verbracht. Die größten Highlights dieser Unterkunft: - die absolute Ruhe tagsüber und nachts (kein Strassanlärm, keine lauten Nachbarn, man ist wirklich am Ende eines kleinen Dorfes, fast schon am Wald) - beim guten Wetter ein absolut klarer Sternenhimmel (sieht man selten so schön) - zu verdanken der wenigen Lichtern in der Umgebung - ein kleiner, kuscheliger Wohnraum mit Kamin - ein 5.000qm großer Garten (umzäunt und exklusiv für die Gäste) - der war perfekt für unseren Hund. - Der freie Blick aus dem Garten auf die Felder und Wiesen....offen, frei, hat man selten heutzutage... Wir konnten bei der Vermieterin frische BioEier und frische Milch -direkt von der Kuh der Nachbarn bestellen. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und kommen gerne wieder. Wir würden diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Alexandra mit Familie

powrót do dzieciństwa

Serdecznie polecam pobyt w Nowej Woli, można choć na chwilę cofnąć się do czasów dzieciństwa, gdy spędzało się wakacje u dziadków na wsi :). Przepiękna okolica, otoczona lasami i łąkami. Blisko domku znajduje się prywatny staw z widokiem na las, z którego można korzystać w ciepłe dni. Domek również klimatyczny, w pełni wyposażony, w chłodne dni można cieszyć się ciepłem kominka. Korzystałam również z przepysznych produktów ekologicznych, takich jak mleko czy jajka od 'szczęśliwych kur' :), które można kupić na miejscu. Można tu odpocząć i oderwać się od miejskiej rzeczywistości! Polecam !

we absolutely recommend this place!

We recommend to visit this beautiful place for those who like nature, fresh air and romantic atmosphere at the same time and who would like to spend some time away from crowds of tourists. Very nice hosts trying to do all their best to make you feel at home. The house inside is clean and neat with a nice wooden furniture. Quiet & relaxing, a real place of old world charm.

This property realy is in rural Poland and has a real old world charm, we saw horse drawn vehicles everyday! It was easy to find with the owners direction and any modern SatNav will take you straight there. The owners and their extended family were not only very helpfull but were also genuinely friendly people and cound not have done more to make us feel welcome and not only will we go back but we fully intend to keep in contact. The property was found very clean and tidy and was both comfortable and homely. Although we were a couple, it would be suitable for families as well and there is more than enough to do for adults and children alike. The garden is well fenced and secure but with easy access to the rest of the farm property and the owners are more than happy for exploration. I myself fished two of their lakes and caught plenty of fish and we also walked the dogs over the farm. Local village shop was a joy and something that is now sadly missing in a lot of places, the local town was also nice. Frank &Tracey Bojda All in all I would not hesitate to recomend the property to anyone wishing a relaxing holiday.

Kleines Häuschen im Grünen

wir haben ein ferienhaus gesucht, wo wir unsere beiden hunde (lapradore) mitbringen durften. wir hatten es gefunden. ein tolles, großes,eingezäuntes grundstück. ein genialer hundeurlaub. das häuschen ist, so wie in der anzeige beschrieben, klein und einfach. also man darf nicht zu viel ansprüche haben.Aber uns hat gerade die einfachheit sehr gut gefallen. was auch ganz toll war - die eigenen teiche zum baden und zum angeln. ungefähr gute fünf minuten übers kornfeld und man war schon da. unsere tochter (15 jahre) durfte bei unseren vermietern reiten, worüber sie sehr glücklich war. also wer hier urlaub machen möchte, bucht die ruhe, die natur und ganz liebe vermieter. sie kümmerten sich ganz, ganz lieb um uns und wir sind froh, sie kennen gelernt zu haben.

What makes this property unique

This is a place where you will just forget the big city and its chaos. it is so quiet here and the view from the garden over the fields and meadows up to the forest is like a balm for your soul....

You can walk here kilometres long, you can look for mushrooms in the nearby forests or just swim in our private lake. We have 2 horses which you can ride or just watch grassing....

You can make a fire in front of the house (we provide wood) or just use the Swedish Oven in the kitchen (very romantic on cold evenings).

The sleeping room is very comfy with a big double bed. Everybodz sleeps well here.
