Lazy Pelican Beach House

One of your favorites from Beach Bird Properties ! Golf cart included. Beautiful open floor plan 3 BR, 2BA house just a few rows back from the ocean. Great view of the lake and fountain for your morning coffee with even better views of the sunset. Just minutes to the 2 outdoor pools, children's water park and indoor pool (open year round). Private beach parking with access to the magnificently soft sand of Surfside Beach. Amenities include baseball field, basketball, volley ball, bocce ball, tennis, pickle ball, and a shuffle board courts.
We are a pet friendly property, there is a 45# limit on dogs size unless cleared by the owners. There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee.
We reserve the right to monitor the outside area of this property via home security devices.

Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Lazy Pelican! The home was wonderful! Lots of space, very clean, and had everything to make our stay feel like home. The location of the home was great. The golf cart, beach chairs and even beach towels to use all made our days on the beach easy and convenient. Mark and Diane were a pleasure to work with and always available to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Perfect beach house!

This beach house was perfect for our small family. The house was beautiful and had all of the essentials. The owners were so helpful and very quick to respond to our questions. We have already booked our Spring vacation here! Highly recommend.

This is our second year staying at the Lazy Pelican and we have already booked again for next summer! The house is clean and comfortable - has everything we need. The location to the beach is great and the screened in front porch is one of our favorite places to be!

This was our 2nd time staying in this house. It is a great house!! Very well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. House was very clean when we arrived. Mark and Diane are great to rent from. Very responsive very helpful with all our needs.

A Wonderful Experience at The Lazy Pelican

My family had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Pelican. I have never stayed at a cleaner rental! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the hosts were fantastic! You are just a quick golf cart ride from the ocean. The property had everything needed for a day at the beach including umbrellas, chairs, beach toys and more. We hope to stay at this property next year!

Wonder place to stay

We love this house. It has such an open layout with the bedrooms on either end. The kitchen feels big and all decor is so beachy. Nice furniture and amazing screened porch. The golf cart is so much fun and it is in a wonderful subdivision!!!! Loved it.

The Lazy Pelican is a great home with a view to enjoy while sitting on the porch. The rooms are spaceous . The home has a great decor. Equipped with everything you need, and Mark & Diane were very helpful with any questions that we had.The welcome basket was so nice of them. We will definetly be back next year.

Great Stay

The only negative I have would be that there was only one key card to get in and out of the gates and it did not work (I couldn’t get it to work, maybe it was my fault.) Other than that, the house was great. Check in was simple. The place was very clean and the view from the front deck was great. Definitely recommend staying here!

Super clean and great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Pelican!! It was perfect for us! The house is exactly as described and extremely clean!! The use of golf cart was awesome! Just a short 2 minute ride to the beach. We really loved sitting on the front porch overlooking the little lake. The communication from the owners was excellent!! Would definitely stay there again!! A wonderful property

This is a great property, close to the beach,the house is exceptional. There is a great porch to enjoy the veiw.This is our second visit to the lazy Pelican and it is the best house that we have stayed at and we have been coming to Oceanside Village for at least 10 Years. Great house!

This is a great house - it doesn’t always happen that you see pictures of a home and it is exactly that when you arrive - this house is! It’s clean and stocked with plenty of items to be used during our stay. The screened in front porch was one of our favorite places to be. We immediately booked it again for next summer when we arrived!

Enjoyable, very nice property

We all were impressed with the decor, high ceilings, TV's, kitchen appointments. Liked having laundry on site. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Golf cart was perfect. Two suggestions. Grab bar outside the tub/shower for less agile renters to safely enter and exit tub/shower. Leave more than one extra trash bag in the kitchen.

Great Trip!

The house is beautiful! Very thoughtfully laid out and beautiful bedding and furniture. Loved reading on the screened porch and enjoying the golf cart. Clean and most importantly provided vaccum and broom to keep up with sand control! The only deduction was made because of communication. Its not actually managed by the host. I texted asking about the air conditioning upon arrival and never got a response. I called with no answer and voicemail box full. When I did get a hold of someone they resolved the issue but would have been great to deal with it at 7:00 vs 10:00 at night. Everything else was a breeze and overall would highly recommend.
