About this property

Private riverfront on 5 secluded acres, HIGH SPEED internet, centrally located

Welcome to Riverland Lodge! This cozy two-bedroom, one bath riverfront vacation home northwest of Lake Michigan is newly remodeled and is ready for you to relax and enjoy the serenity of nature.

Let Riverland Lodge be your launching pad for spring and summer events whether a long, meandering trip or just short driving tours, are a great way to experience the beauty of Upper Michigan. With scenic views of the 1,000-foot private riverfront, Riverland Lodge sets on five wooded acres with no surrounding neighbors, so you can take in all the sights, sounds and smells of the great outdoors. Frequent sightings of deer (bucks), raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, porcupines, ducks, and a variety of wild birds will complete your rustic retreat. We haven’t had any bear or moose sightings, but nature can always surprise us!

The home’s wrap-around porch is just a stone’s throw from the riverbank, giving you the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee. A gas grill and outdoor furnishings allow you to spend time outdoors throughout your stay, and if you’re interested in hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or off-roading, this home is perfect for your family to enjoy a much-needed vacation.

Only ten minutes from Escanaba, Island Resort & Casino, and Ludington Park, this home’s large lot makes it a great location for a private outdoor wedding or family reunion. Beautiful Escanaba Beach at Lake Michigan is accessible, as well as a major snowmobile/ATV artery that will take you just about anywhere in the Upper Peninsula. Local bike and walking trails, golf courses, cross country ski trails, great restaurants, friendly people and outdoor weekend events offer something for everyone!

Riverland Lodge is just an hour away from some of the most popular tourist attractions, such as Boat Cruises, Fayette Historic State Park, Big Springs (kitch-iti-kipi) and Marquette Mountain.

Some annual local events include:
• Walleye Opener (May)
• Waterfront Art Fairs

Back home at Riverland Lodge, you’ll love the interior design, with vaulted ceilings and two sets of glass front sliding doors overlooking the river. A perfectly-positioned center fireplace just begs for you to curl up and warm your toes at the end of a long day of outdoor play.

You'll feel right at home the moment you step inside. The beautiful flooring, comfy furniture, new beds, new appliances, and cozy touches around the home are quite welcoming. Relaxing, peaceful getaway!
This is our second time booking this beautiful spot on the Ford River for our Sisters Weekend. Just as our first visit, our hosts and this home did not disappoint. Amazing.

Pleasant stay
We stayed here over the Thanksgiving break. Very calm and quiet place. Very clean and had all the supplies we needed in plenty. The RV tracks were livery to walk our dog and for some deer spotting. Also the occasional hunters. The only downside is the place does not have a dishwasher and so the utensils were a bit crusty as this entirely depends on the previous occupants. Would be great to have the housekeeping ensure the previous tenants did a good job. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Excellent house
This was our third trip to the Riverland Lodge and as always it was a perfect place! This time we had our 75 year old parents with us and they could not say enough good things about the house and amenities.
