We stayed mid-July. As a family of 6 with mixed opinions about the beach :), EVERYONE enjoyed themselves. The location was perfect, as the beach was not over-crowded. We were close to many restaurants, convenience stores, and grocery stores. Everything was clean and we all fit comfortably! You won’t regret booking this one!

Thank you for the 5-star review of Destin on the Gulf 401! Glad everyone enjoyed the stay — especially that the beach felt less crowded. It's great the location, nearby restaurants and stores, and the cleanliness made your family of six comfortable. We look forward to hosting you again. RealJoy Vacations

The property is in excellent location, very easy access to a beautiful beach as well as places to go and eat. The condo didn’t have many amenities except for the pool, but the unit was very much like the pictures and accommodate our family of 5 with 3 kids very well. It was very clean and welcoming, specially the games, which came in handy for the stormy days we couldn’t do anything outside. Overall excellent experience and would definitely recommend!

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad Destin on the Gulf 401’s location and easy beach access worked well, and that the unit matched the photos and accommodated your family. Sorry the condo had limited amenities beyond the pool — we’ll pass your feedback along. Happy the games helped during the storm. We appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back. This was a wonderful family trip for our 4 young kiddos. The beach/ pool access was perfect. Even though a tropical storm was ending, the beach was still a shallow area to play in. The beach is officially public, but was never crowded and had lots of space to play and swim. The condo itself was very nice. The bathroom showers might need updates, but with the amount of sand at a beach, tile can wear out quickly. All appliances are updated and kitchen flat wear & utensils were nice. We will happily rebook again.

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad Destin on the Gulf 401 was a great fit for your family — the beach and pool access, shallow water for the kids, and the updated appliances/kitchen items. We appreciate the note about the showers and will pass it to our maintenance team for review. Hope to host you again. RealJoy Destin

Destin vacation

The condo was beautiful. As described in the listing. It was very clean. The setup was perfect. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Pool was great. Property managers were prompt with answering questions. We would definitely come again. If you are staying for any length, bring extra necessities (TP, garbage bags, paper towels, etc).

Wedding get away!!

Do to Covid and family’s being out of the area it was very hard getting our dream out of the country wedding! We got married on Friday headed down to the beach after it was perfect to spend time with loved ones on our special day! Y’all made it easy and had a home touch that was absolutely perfect!! Thank you! I have already recommended this particular location to many fiends and family!!

Family Beach Gathering

The Condo was clean and nicely decorated. The way the building is situated on the property gives every unit a good beach/water view. The complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were a plus. Negatives: The pool is nice but a little small to handle everyone and needs umbrellas desperately. We left a couple items in the unit and I notified the management company and they were not helpful at all. Very disappointing.

Nancy, Thank you for the 5-star review. We are sorry that you are missing some items that you believe you left behind. Unfortunately, the cleaners did not turn in anything and by the time you let us know, someone else was in the unit. We're glad that you enjoyed the water view and the beach service and we hope you had a safe trip home.
