Our 6 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom, 4,800 Sq. ft. luxurious mountain home is absolutely sublime. Tucked away in Cascade Village above the valley floor and just a few minute drive from Purgatory ski resort, our Executive estate has unobstructed 180 degree views of the nearly 14,000 ft peaks of the Needles Mountains, Spud, and Engineer Mountain.
Inside the home you will find that no expense was spared. On the main level behind a set of 16th century Moroccan doors lies a master retreat that includes incredible views of Engineer & Needles Mountains from the King bed. The master retreat includes a spacious bathroom with heated floor, jacuzzi tub/shower and a walk in closet with washer and dryer. The adjacent bedroom features a double bunk with single bunk overhead. The 2nd level offers two bedrooms (queen size beds) with En suite bathroom that includes a jacuzzi tub/shower and heated floors. The Entry level/Bottom floor offers large media/game room with 3 built in bunk beds and 1 bedroom with queen size bed with jacuzzi tub/shower.
The main level offers an open floor plan (kitchen/bar area, dining room and living room) with Southwestern style art, high honed tongue and grove wood ceilings with beautiful wooden structural beams. With granite counter tops, top-of-the-line appliances, a four seat bar area and amazing mountain views, the kitchen area is built with a foodie in mind. The focal point of the great room is a massive stone fireplace (wood burning with gas starter). Perfect for entertaining, the great room, dining room and kitchen are all open to a wall of windows and spacious deck to enjoy the amazing views of the San Juan mountain ranges. On the back deck, a warm, gas fire pit makes a great place to roast s'mores and entertain.

We are taking appropriate steps to prepare for your stay, and have asked our cleaning staff to adhere to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting. In addition to their regular rigorous cleaning regimen, they are following housekeeping best practices, paying close attention to high touch surfaces, and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for hard (non-porous) surfaces, soft (porous) surfaces and electronics. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.
Check-In / Checkout
It is your responsibility to review, and if so desired, seek clarification on property specific questions prior to your arrival.
Check-in is after 4:00 PM. Checkout is before 10:00 AM.
Unless you have specifically arranged for an early arrival time, please do not arrive at the property before your scheduled check in time. Additionally, your prompt departure is appreciated so we can prepare the property for any incoming guests. Renter and all guests must vacate the property no later than 10:00 AM. Failure to check out on time will result in a $200 late checkout fee.
In winter (November through April), It is highly recommended that you have a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel -drive vehicle, vehicles with medium to high clearance and winter/snow tires. Although the roads and driveway are maintained, they still may be snow packed and slick. With conditions permitting, we will try to ensure our handyman is able to remove snow prior to your arrival and as needed given snowfall.
Strict no smoking and no pets policy. Breaking this policy will result in a $500 fee. Please no parties, events or large gatherings of people. Respect the home and the neighbors.
Guests/Maximum Occupancy
Number of guests allowed is 12 adults and children regardless of age. Minimum age to book, 25 years old.
Home Furnishings
For rental purposes, the property is fully equipped with Wifi internet, televisions, linens, dishes and utensils and a starter supply of soap, cleaning, and paper goods. You will need to bring or purchase additional supplies for your own personal wants or needs.
Hot Tub/Indoor Pool Access
The Cascade Village Lodge is accessible to all guests. Outside are 2 hot tubs. Inside the facility there is an indoor swimming pool, additional hot tub, game room, arcade and fitness center. There is also a ski shop on the bottom floor which is still open and very convenient for guests wanting to avoid the busy ski shops at Purgatory Resort.
Cascade Village Free Shuttle Service
Purgatory Resort offers round-trip transportation between Cascade Village and the Resort for guests staying at Cascade Village. Please contact the Cascade Village Front Desk at 970-259-3500 for further information on shuttle times and pick-up location. Approximate pick up time is 8:55am and drop off is 4:00pm. It is A $5.00 fare, one-way, per person, for transportation outside of scheduled times.
Maintenance Expectations
Any maintenance problems will be handled in a timely and professional manner. No credits nor refunds will be issued as a result of the malfunction of any equipment or appliances, including TV's, hot water heaters, stoves, refrigerators, door locks, etc.
No Smoking & No Pets
The property is non-smoking and no pets allowed. No exceptions - violation of either policy will result in a $500 fine.
Cleaning
A non-refundable $450 cleaning fee is required for all reservations. Undue and/or unreasonable cleaning of the property shall be charged to the Renter's/Cardholder's credit card as an Additional Cleaning Charge at a rate of up to $45/hour with a one hour minimum. This also applies to the property's exterior, general grounds, garage and equipment (fire pit, gas grill, etc.).
Renter Cleaning Expectations:
- Take out trash before leaving and place in one of the blue dumpsters in the subdivision
- Leave sheets & towels at the base of the bed they belong
- Wash dishes used and run dishwasher
- Clean out refrigerator and remove all perishable items you brought
Reporting issues:
- Please notify us of any damaged property that may have occurred during your stay. Someone will inspect the house and if issues are found you will be notified and asked to pay for damages.
- Notify us of any clogged toilets, non-working appliances, missing towels/linens or cook ware, or any minor issues prior to leaving the house. Fixing of such issues may incur additional fees.
