Check in was excellent, kitchen facilities was good , had all that we needed for our stay. Marcus the care taker was awesome, gave us some ideas on entertainment in the local area and made sure we had everything we needed.
We traveled to Dayton for a mini-family reunion and we needed a place for family overflow. Great little house! The neighborhood was quiet with very little traffice. The house was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. Clean and well-maintained. Lots of space and comfortable furniture. Pretty well stocked kitchen with fairly new appliances. Owner response to our few questions was qucik and thorough. Might not be the place for families with small children (toddlers) because two of the bedrooms are upstairs, but absolutely perfect for families with older children or couples traveling together. Thanks for making our trip to Dayton such a success. We would definately stay here again if we need extra room.
Booked this house for parents weekend at University of Dayton. Perfect for what we needed. Price was right and close to where we needed to be. Would book again!
The stay at this location was perfect to all attractions that we wanted and it was close to events that we was holding in the area would love to book this location again for future stays here in Montgomery county
Friend group just passing through, needing a clean, safe place to sleep. Well stocked with necessities and clean! Much more affordable than booking three seperate motel rooms!
This home was a relaxing place for our family to land temporarily as we moved out of the area. The beds and furniture were comfortable and I appreciated that the upstairs bedrooms had dressers available for us to unpack since we stayed for several weeks. A dripping faucet was quickly repaired when I spoke to the host about it. Know that the laundry is located in the basement, which I recommend keeping off limits to kids because the steps are steep and besides the washer/dryer there is just storage down there. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean upon our arrival, but the floors needed some attention. I bought a broom to leave there because I couldn’t find one. Kitchen could use some updated pots/pans and more utensils. Loved having regular drip coffee pot instead of one that uses pods. Would stay again!
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Older house, very clean with comfortable beds and nice kitchen. Two updated bathrooms with good showers. Neighbor on one side was very friendly, never met the other neighbor. convenient location.

Disliked: Cleanliness
It was charming, but for the price, it had a terrible smell, there were several dirty dishes, so waahed any dish we were going to use first. The skillets were terrible, non-stick surface pretty much gone, broken kitchen cabinet door, would not store anything in the kitchen cabinets. Upstairs bathroom I feel was not cleaned, because if it were, they would have made sure the sink and tub drained, which they held water and i cleaned them the best i could before using them. Tv kept going in and out. The kitchen between stove and counter was dirty. Would have been nice to have hand towels in the bathrooms, and nicer towels. Last year the place we stayed was 4 bedrooms, and spotless, and everything was in excellent shape, including cookware, and cheaper. I think they need to spend a little money to get this property up to par for a rental.
Cute spot with nice features I wish I had more time to enjoy!
We only stayed the one night but I could absolutely enjoy a few days or more here! The kitchen was spacious and the backyard was cute. One of the beds was a little uncomfortable but otherwise everyone slept comfortably. Thanks Michelle!
In town for a wedding so stayed 2 nights. House had plenty of character and was perfect for our needs. Sat on the deck and relaxed, listening to a baseball game. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms updated. Highly recommend the Dayton Community golf course 2.5 miles down the road and the Submarine House right around the corner.
A little sketchy for elderly or mobility impaired.
We stayed one night to attend a funeral. Obviously, four people saved money but my 94-year-old mother and 69-year-old brother-in-law struggled with the front steps. There is no hand rail and bushes on either side are growing over which makes going up next to her to get in. Also, the transitions into the kitchen are dangerous as she almost fell going over them. There is only antenna tv and half the channels are unwatchable. It would be fine if the tv was upgraded to a smart tv so we could stream the services we have. Was not terrible but certainly would not stay there for a week.

Bad house and terrible condition
We reserved this for 3 nights but we just left after the first night and sucked up the payment for the last 2 days. It was dirty and not organized at all. It looked like they had youngsters who didn't clean their room and just left before we arrived. There was a paucity of supplies in the kitchen (2 or 3 spoons). There was one very very old plasma TV with a small handful of stations and no HDMI ports or wifi to play other things on the TV. All of the furniture seemed to come right off the street, with the old primary sofa broken and uncomfortable. Sorry this shoud not be rented out again.
I was in Dayton for my 60th HS reunion. One of my old buddies and I shared the house. It was clean, convenient and comfortable. All necessities were provided. The mattresses were excellent. A very quiet neighborhood. Really nice rear deck with a grill. I would stay there again (maybe at my 65th reunion if I'm still on this side of the soil).
Host cancelled stay day of reservation after check-in time
I have never been so disappointed. I booked this stay over a month before I needed it. I was coming in from out of town for a race and therefor every hotel in the area was booked. I had to reach out the day of the stay to request the check-in code and it was after the check-in time of 2pm. I did not get a response until after I reached out over an hour later and still after 30 more mins of waiting did i get a response saying my reservation was cancelled due to "Covid." Someone was staying in the home prior and had it, I asked to stay anyway as there was NO WHERE for me to stay and was told "no" which i understand however, I was willing to sign a waiver or anything. If the house was cleaned then I would not have been at risk for getting sick as it is not transmitted that way, I was told that i was "texted" at around 2:30pm and that again is still after check-in time. I never received a text and you would think that if she did not get a response she should have followed up with an e-mail or phone call. You cannot cancel on someone after the check-in time. She was rude. No follow-up after alleged text was sent. I would not ever recommend anyone to stay. at the beginning when i booked the place it took me 2 tries to even get approved because she did not accept my booking. Again, i was from out of town and in for a race and had no where to stay due to hotels within 25 miles being booked.
