The accommodation is in a 17th century building.
"La Bastide", 3-room house 70 m2 on 2 levels. Practical and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double sofabed, open-hearth fireplace, cable TV and DVD. Open kitchen (4 hot plates, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine). Sep. WC. Upper floor: 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds, 1 french bed and shower/WC. 1 room with 1 french bed and bath/WC. Facilities: washing machine. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking at the house. Please note: maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. Smoke alarm.

Our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. There was a lot of space in the living/eating area, two bedrooms with each an own bathroom and a seperate toilet. Our children were already old enough, but when going with little ones and early walkers the staircase could be a challenge.The bath- and bedrooms were very clean, the kitchen full equiped and the fireplace was also working very well. You can reach a lot of wonderful cities/touristic sites without sitting hours in the car. The village itself doesn't offer too much (there is one highclass restaurant and a school).We do have some things for improvement:The heating in one of the bathrooms was not working. There was no regulator for setting up the temperature. There is really only space for one car in front of the house. Other cars must be parked at the church.For the rest we felt very comfortable there.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en een echt authentiek simpel huisje in een kalme omgeving. 2 opmerkingen : de koffiezet liep heel moeilijk door en viel uit. Wij hebben voor ons verblijf een nieuwe gekocht. Geen WC-papier aanwezig bij aankomst. Voor de rest heel mooie omgeving en fijne mensen overal in de streek.

Ruhig und entspannt :)

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und nett eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und haben ein paar schöne Tage dort verbracht. Es ist kein Luxus, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Vermieter wohnt vor Ort und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Nur die Betten sind zu weich, aber der Kamin hat das wieder ausgeglichen ;)

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour

Nous avons une très bonne semaine , nous avions une petite crainte par rapport à la proximité avec les propriétaires mais au final tout c'est très bien passé. Ceux ci sont vraiment très gentils et à l'écoute et prêt à rendre service. Le village est très calme et toutefois proches des commerces et d'une plus grande ville. Nous avons effectué tout nos déplacements en vélo et n'avons rencontré aucun problème.

Fijn huis met veel ruimte

Heerlijk ruim en mooi huis. Voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt inclusief vaatwasser en haard. De eigenaar woont op het terrein en is erg vriendelijk. Huis ziet er beter uit dan op de foto’s! WiFi was prima, tv heeft veel zenders en gebruik van de tuin is voor de kinderen erg fijn. Naast het huis ligt een klein riviertje. Het dorpje is mini en heeft weinig faciliteiten dus de auto heb je wel nodig. Wandelen kan overal, maar houd in het achterhoofd dat ‘iets doen’ in de Ardennen wel wat verder rijden is. Wij vonden de bedden minder comfortabel, maar voor een paar nachten te doen. Twee badkamers zijn perfect, de douches zijn goed.

Wir haben ein paar schöne Urlaubstage in dem gut ausgestatteten und liebevoll eingerichteten Domizil verbracht. Die zentrale Lage hat uns begeistert. Die Sauberkeit war sehr gut. Herr Duez ist ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber.
