Sisters gathering

The location was beautiful. The cleanliness of the place could be improved. The kitchen cabinets fronts were greasy. The coffee pots were left dirty and the air conditioner vent in the dining area was covered with dust.There were no dish clothes or towels available so we used bath towels. the pool was delightful and one of the main reasons we chose this place.

Great getaway with family and friends

Great location and beautiful lake views! Plenty of space for our family and friends. We liked the house plan and decorations. Kitchen has everything we needed for everyday cooking. We did enjoy huge deck and game room. Heated pool was a big plus. Thank you very much for sharing your property with us. We will definitely come back!

Private resort...

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay. In the time of Covid, this house was exactly what we were hoping for - a contactless getaway with plenty to do in the private resort-like setting! With the grounds, beautiful pool, stocked game room and amazing decks, we had everything we needed for a quiet but fun packed week! Spending time on the pristine lake was an added bonus that shouldn’t be missed. We had a few hiccups at the beginning of our stay, but our hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!!

Our review

We had a couple of hiccups, but Sean was really good to work with. The view is amazing! We had a very HOT week while we were there, so the pool was awesome! This house is NOT for people who have bad knees or any issues with steps. The house is pretty much as it is described. We were rather surprised at how low some of the beds were. The house was well supplied. Overall, it was a great vacation and we do recommend staying here. Big thanks again to Sean!

Relaxing stay at scenic location

This is a great place to unwind with family. The home has had a lot of thought put into it and the view is magnificent. Some of the furniture is starting to look a little worn and the beds were a little uncomfortable. Sort of a thin memory foam pad on top of the mattress that collapsed into deep holes that made sleeping a little uncomfortable, but maybe I am just spoiled by my mattress at home. The home had a few areas that weren't fully clean on check-in, such as poorly washed dishes with food left on them, a few dead mosquitoes in the cupboards, and couches with lots of misc gunk under the cushions. All fairly minor and easy to clean up ourselves. Overall I was happy to stay here and would return again. 9/10!

Just what we needed

Normally we take a family trip to the beach but because of the crazy going on we decided to stay closer to home and a place away from other folks. This was the perfect location. Home is nestled back in the country overlooking the beautiful Lake Norfork. The swimming pool was probably the best we have had at a rental, big enough for our whole bunch of 10 and we used it a lot. The house is just a short distance from a marina because you will want to spend some time on this Lake. It is huge and during the week never crowded. We loved our time tubing and also rented a seadoo. We usually only rent 5 bedroom homes so everyone has their own spot but there were enough beds so that everyone had one. The game room with pool and ping pong was a big hit as was the huge patio where we had all our meals together. Two of my sons play disc golf so we really had fun on the course in the front yard and they enjoyed teaching the game to the rest of us. Owners were receptive to - even bringing us out a new handmixer when we could not locate the beaters to the one in the house . The only negatives I could give were really minor ones. The house has one cooling unit so it took us a minute to figure out how to keep upstairs cook without freezing the folks down and the other was was the slow coffee maker. Again both were minor things and the positives overwhelmed the minor. We would absolutely come back to this house and to this Lake again. Owners and Sean were exceptional to work with.

We rented this property for our wedding, and I couldn’t have imagined doing it anywhere else! There are 10 tables, 100 chairs, and the wedding arch that we used - but we did bring our own wedding decorations as some provided are a bit outdated. The owners were incredibly flexible with check in/check out and quick to answer questions. The venue is beautiful and the pool was perfect!

this was our 2nd time here for our annual family vaca. its the perfect size and location for us. The pool is a must and its close enough to the lake for a day our on the boat. The inside is always clean and has everything we need. The only thing I would change is a little more attention to the porch furniture and the porch itself. there were a few things laying around on the porch and the furniture was pretty dirty (cushions). Other than that, its perfect. We will most likely be back next summer.

Sweet spot

First off, the property owner, Hilary is great at responding to communication. The property managers, Linda and Sean, are super at addressing concerns. The fire alarm in the upstairs master was beeping when we arrived. Sean came out and took it off the premises, so it did not disrupt our peace. As it was raining when we arrived, the pool was closed. We were prepared that we were going to need to open it the next morning. However, they sent out an individual who opened it up for us. How wonderful is that? The only major issue we had was the cleanliness of the environment, but when we stay somewhere I usually clean as a precaution. Although we left the premises cleaner than we found them, a deep cleaning would be helpful between every few guests. Honestly, maybe they do but the guests prior to us may have been particularly filthy and put dirty dishes back in the cabinets and dirty towels/potholders back in the drawers. I only pre and post washed the dishes we used but did wash all the kitchen towels/potholders. We were so grateful to have a washer/dryer on location. Because of the service and communication, we would stay here again. Thank you!

October wedding stay

This property makes an absolutely stunning venue for smaller weddings. Everything about it was wonderful. I will say the carpets and walls could use a deep cleaning, they’re just a bit marked and stained from the years as well as some of the outdoor furniture, but most definitely not a deal breaker. Even though this was the hottest first weekend in October ever,the fans on the deck and the shady trees made it just fine. I would love to stay here again in the future just for fun. The views are incredible and the pool is great! Didn’t even get time to use the fire pit unfortunately! Would 10/10 recommend for small weddings and family reunions or even just group weekend get away!

Dirty and Black Mold all over walls

Upon arrival there was grease all over the cabinets and the counters and microwave had not been cleaned. There is black mold all over the wallpaper upstairs in the living room and masterbedroom. The fridge in the game room is rusting at the back. There was dirt in all of the rugs and dirt all over the gameroom floors.
