View of Vineyard over the Old City Walls

Comfortable and perfectly sized place for us to have a 7 day vacation in a beautiful part of the world. The town of St. Hippolyte is amazing. The hosts were friendly and generous, even presenting us with a home-baked welcome cake. This was a nice centralized location for exploring the vineyards by bicycle.

Location

The location of the property just at the edge of the town and close to the fields with wine plants was great. The quietness of the area was also perfect. The apartment was a high quality but in the same way also cozy.

Welcoming and peaceful

Very well situated in the village with walking paths almost from the doorstep. The facilities are excellent but I think that mention should be made that the apartment is on the first floor - not a problem for us but could be for others. The hosts were really friendly and helpful especially on our last day when we had a problem quite unrelated to the property. Thank you again.

Paul e Philippe sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. La location e' molto bella, inserita in un piccolo borgo alsaziano a pochi chilometri dei centri più famosi. Fantastisch! La Hortensia is een heel fijn verblijf. Heel schoon, met smaak ingericht, fijne badkamer en van alle gemakken voorzien. De slaapkamer is ruim, heeft een goed bed en meer dan voldoende kastruimte! De auto kon op het eigen terrein staan en de fietsen in de garage. Paul Andre en Philippe zijn ontzettend gastvrij en hartelijk. Fijn dat zij beide goed Duits spreken en Philippe ook Engels. Bij ontvangst kregen we duidelijke uitleg en stond er een Elzasser Kugelhopf voor ons klaar en een bord met vijgen uit eigen tuin!We zouden het appartement zonder twijfel weer boeken als we naar de Elzas zouden willen gaan.In het dorp zijn meerdere restaurants waar je goed kan eten.Dank Paul Andre en Philippe voor een fijne week!

Besser geht kaum!!!

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung in toller Lage direkt am Ortsrand. Fantastischer Blick in die Weinberge. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr zuvorkommender und freundlicher Mensch. Diese Unterkunft ist absolut fantastisch.

Un logement au top et super bien situé

Le propriétaire très attentionné, nous a donné de très bons conseils et nous a permis de profiter des environs au maximum et de déguster un très bon kouglof.Le logement est idéalement situé pour profiter de l'ambiance des marchés de Noël les plus réputés (Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, Kayserberg, Colmar, Eguisheim, Strasbourg... sans oublier le magnifique château du Haut-Koeningsbourg, le Mont Sainte-Odile, le vignoble Huber et Bléger à Saint-Hippolyte.Le logement est coquet on s'y sent comme à la maison, rien ne manque et le stationnement privé et fermé est un plus. L'accès au logement est individuel, ce qui permet une totale indépendance. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Die Lage der Wohnung am Rand des Ortes mit Blick auf die Weinberge ist wunderschön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch der hübsch gestaltete Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Gastgeber sind total nett, hilfsbereit und sprechen beide gut deutsch. Unsere Fahrräder haben ein trockenes Plätzchen in der Garage gefunden. Wir haben uns dort rundum sehr wohl gefühlt.

Très bon accueil de Paul-André et de Philippe. Le gîte était parfait et nous donnait l'impression d'être chez nous. Très fonctionnel, rien ne manque pour permettre de passer un agréable séjour. Je pense que nous n avons jamais réserver dans un endroit aussi fabuleux. Des l arrivée la gentillesse et les attentions de nos hôtes nous ont mis dans l ambiance. Le logement : emplacement parfait, vue extraordinaire, propreté impeccable, décoré avec goût et très très fonctionnel. Nous nous sommes senti chez nous immédiatement. Der Aufenthalt St. Hippolyte war traumhaft. Wir hatten genau die Ruhe, die wir erhofft hatten. Der Garten war nur für uns da und die Lage als letztes Haus am Weinberg war wundervoll. Paul-Andre´ ist ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit. In 60-100 m Entfernung gibt es einen hervorragenden Bäcker, eine Mezgerei und ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant mit elsässischen Spezialitäten. Etwas Negatives fällt mir wirklich nicht ein........ :-)

Appartement très agréable, bien équipé, très propre, et bien situé, au calme avec une belle vue sur les vignes environnantes. Et particulièrement enchantés par l'accueil, la gentillesse et la serviabilité du propriétaire, qui a pris l'initiative de dégivrer le pare-brise de notre voiture un matin de gel ! Außergewöhnliches Einod mit Charme

Wir hatten serh schöne Tage in der liebevoll gestalteten Unterkunft von Paul-Andre - ein so sehr sympathischer und herzlicher Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist in einem traumhaften Anwesen gelegen. Blitzsauber und gut ausgestattet. Sie ist zudem sensationell gut gelegen, um die Weinstrasse und die vielen herrlichen Dörfer des Elsass (und auch der Vogesen) zu erkunden. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen und freuen uns auf den selbsgebackenen Gugelhupf von Paul.

Schöner Ort für Elsass-Erkundung

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der netten Wohnung mit einem/r sehr schönen Bad/Toilette, einem wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Weinberge und Bas-Rhin / Selestat sowie unserem Host Paul mit seinem zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Wesen sehr genossen - wir kommen wieder!

Das Appartment war genau schön wie beschrieben. Die Landschaft ist schön, der Ort sowie die Lage des Hauses im Ort sind eigentlich ideal. Der Gastgeber war sehr, sehr freundlich und nett. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt!

Très agréable séjour

L'accueil des propriétaires est chaleureux et sincère .le gîte est parfait et décoré avec goût .les environs sont tres jolis avec une multitude de choses à voir sur la route des vins. Nous recommandons vivement ce gite .
