The entire home and property are yours to enjoy. Adjacent cabins are nearby, but each has separate parking areas and entrances and is privacy fenced, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. Past guests have enjoyed the privacy with hardly a notice of the other guests in those cabins. The firepit by the beach is reserved for you, and river access just below the steps is shared with Mt. Pilchuck River Cabin. The Verlot Campground, the ranger station, and Heather Creek are just a short walk away.

We are located next to the Rusty Bridge and the Stilly River. Situated just below Mt. Pilchuck and Heather Lake. We are in a community of cabins within the USDA forest service area. It's a little rustic in our neighborhood. There is a mix of vacation cabins and permanent residences. We have very low crime in our zone, and most folks keep to themselves. This is an all inclusive space and very welcoming. Don't be surprised if someone goes by and gives you a friendly wave. Many locals have helped with our restoration and creation here, and folks look out for each other in the Verlot community. You are in a welcome place :)

We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

1) Please be aware that the sleeping loft is accessible via spiral stairs, which adds to the charm of the cabin.

2) If you plan to bring your furry friend, we welcome them with open arms and have a maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with a fee of $32 per pup per night. This fee is added post booking. No cats are allowed. To avoid any confusion, please include your dog in the reservation. Please note that we kindly ask you to not allow dogs on the furniture, beds, or in the sleeping loft.

3) We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive early, or stay past check-out. The cleaners will be there by 11 AM. If the cabin is ready before the standard 4 PM time, our team will message you. The cabin is usually booked back to back with every guest deserving a fully cleaned and presented cabin :)

4) We do provide firewood, however we recommend that you bring a couple bundles of dry firewood and kindling for that great fire in the firepit.

5) AllTrails is a great resource for your local hikes and excursions.

6) Weather forecast for your planning should be Verlot Washington.

7) Closest gas, grocery, outfitters, firewood, restaurants, coffee, and bars is 15 minutes to the West in Granite Falls Washington. You should find everything you need there.

8) The cabin is stocked with a 20 spice spice rack, salt and pepper, olive oil & non-stick spray, popcorn and an air popper, fresh French Roast coffee beans and grinder, French Press, Coffee Maker, single-cup pour over filter system, assorted teas, hot chocolate and cider packets, monk fruit & stevia, toaster, blender, cocktail shaker, gas BBQ and utensils, tea pot, washer and dryer with detergent and fabric softener, organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, and a hair dryer. Oh, and all of the pots and pans you need. :)

9) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, and check-out instructions will be emailed 2 days prior to your arrival.

We strive to accommodate all our guests' needs, so please feel free to let us know if you have any special requests or requirements. We can't wait to host you and make your stay unforgettable! :)

Hello happy travelers!

We are Owen and Kristin, and we love our job of creating magical retreats for our guests to stay and relax in. Owen is a former contractor and I am an Alaska Airlines flight attendant, and both are real estate brokers. We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding experience for all of our guests. We buy (or help our clients buy) unique properties all around the PNW. We then remodel these homes to chic faux-rustic design. All the way through sourcing furniture and stocking shelves the process goes on. We love family, skiing, hiking, traveling, gardening, photography and searching for new properties to renovate.
Our adventure started 4 years ago as house flippers and helping our clients do the same. Things took a turn when we completed our 3 cabin remodels. The plan was to finish and sell them so we could roll into other flips, but the night before listing, while sitting around the campfire, we decided to roll the dice and keep the cabins and turn them into Vacation Rentals. That single decision has completely changed our lives and business plan.
