About this property

Hidden Falls Guest Cabin

This is an exclusive and unique destination! HIKE RIGHT OUT YOUR FRONT DOOR UP TO YOUR OWN PRIVATE LOOKOUT! Experience your own private views of Mt Washington, Franconia Notch and the White Mountains.

This cabin is located in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods while still being close to all the local amenities. Shaw's grocery store, Polish Princess Bakery and Copper Pig Brewery are only a short 10 minutes away in Lancaster, New Hampshire.

Situated on 200 acres, the cabin is modern and cozy. Miles of private trails leave the backyard of the property and meander through the woods gently climbing to beautiful vistas of Mt Washington and the White Mountains. In the early spring the property produces maple syrup and in the summer it is a working farm with many different vegetable crops.

The cabin is stocked with everything you will need for a few nights or a few weeks! It is equipped with a full kitchenette, bathroom, shower, wood stove and high speed fiber internet. The cabin is also100% powered using renewable energy from solar, wind, and hydro power.

Inside the cabin you will find a comfy queen sized mattress. All linens/blankets/pillows and towels provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, and a propane stove top.

In the yard there is a giant fire pit for big campfires. On clear nights you will find yourself sitting out watching the most incredible display of stars you've ever seen!

There is something happening during every season here! In Winter break out the snowshoes or xc skis. In Spring and Summer take full advantage of the hiking and beautiful places to relax around the property. When the fall comes, the changing colors will leave you breathless.

Our proximity to other great outdoor destinations means you will never run out of things to do and places to explore!

In addition to being just down the road from Lancaster, we are also close to Burke Mountain, Bretton Woods, and Cannon for skiing and the renowned Kingdom Trails for mountain biking. Miles of snowmobile trails are also located a few miles from the house.

Guests can use all spaces and walk anywhere they want on the property. There are some utility sheds that guests will not have access to. The owner lives in the main house adjacent to the cabin.

Cleaning is a priority for us and we make sure to provide a clean space for our guests.

Picturesque land and a cozy, eco-friendly cabin that was perfect for a dog-friendly getaway. I would recommend as a home base for adventures in the NEK.

Winter Getaway!
we had a great stay at the cabin. It is just as described. We hiked up to the overlook on a beautiful bluebird day and were treated to views of the Green Mts. The second day we went for the short 2-mile ride over to Cow Mountain Pond. A must see during your visit. We had the park to ourselves! Overall, a quiet, comfortable place to stay. We look forward to the next visit. only suggestion, if you are visiting during cold weather bring a pair of slippers or heavy sock. The cement floor can be chilly.

My name is Drew and I am very excited to be able to host guests at my house here in Vermont. I am a native of Connecticut but have lived all over the United States and internationally in six different countries. I am a language teacher but also an avid outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy talking to my guests when there is time and sharing time on this incredible property.

Why they chose this property

I purchased the property in September of 2020 with the idea of creating a unique rental destination close to skiing and hiking in the White Mountains. The property itself is unique in that it has it's own trails which include beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. You can come here and stay on the property for an entire weekend or venture out to nearby recreation spots.
