The cabin was perfect for the two of us to get away for the weekend. Very clean and everything was as advertised. Would recommend and hopefully will be able to return in the future.
My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Acorn cabin as a late Valentine’s Day getaway. This is our new favorite cabin! Cozy living room, well-appointed kitchen, and extremely comfortable bed…and the hot tub enclosed on the porch topped it off. It was nice to have privacy while enjoying the cold February air during a hot soak. Very clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped property.
The most beautiful, peaceful cabin in the woods. The cabin was very welcoming and homie. The check in was smooth and easy. We will be.back mext year to enjoy!
Great cabin , the bed was the best I've ever had in 25 yrs of cabins on vacation over multiple states. Very clean , and close to everything that needs to be seen on your own little vacation . Recommended for all my friends and family
We absolutely loved it! Best Honeymoon Ever!!!! 😊 we will be coming back every year on our anniversary if possible! Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us🥰
Really nice. Only thing I would say, tv is so high for the room, couch is so close, get a kink in neck. Would be nice since you have to slouch —a double size foot rest in front of couch would have been more comfortable . Other than that, perfect cabin. Jacuzzi was a nice touch too!!
So clean and cozy! My husband and I had a perfect stay at Acorn Cabin. The hot tub was amazing after a 4 hour hike on Saturday, and we had a blast watching old movies and listening to the radio. We will definitely stay again.
We had a great time staying in this cabin. It’s very cozy & has everything we needed. We saw lots of deer & the owners cat visited us several times & just hung out with us on the front porch. My husband & I looked at so many cabins & the reviews were definitely helpful. We had never been to Hocking Hills, so had no idea where to stay. This cabin was close to a little town with a couple stores & restaurants. It’s about 25 minutes to the parks to go hiking. It did rain quite a bit, but we made the best of it. Highly recommend Old Mans Cave. We would stay here again if it was the two of us, but would like to take our 3 kids next time so we would need a bigger cabin. Great place!
This was the perfect place for a short getaway. Very cute and clean cabin that had everything we needed. The views were great and lots of wildlife. We had Deer, Squirrels and an Owl hanging out. The fire pit was nice and the cat kept coming up to hang out. The inside of the cabin was very nice and the hot tub was great for 2 people. I would definitely recommend this to friends or anyone looking for a nice getaway in the hills. Check in was easy and the owners communicated well. Food and other amenities are fairly close and Old Mans Cave is just a short drive. Cell service was just fine at the cabin. It was hit and miss going toward the caves but that was expected. I definitely plan on staying again.
Close enough to Hocking Hills to enjoy the park, yet felt very secluded. Extremely clean and well kept! The property was more charming than expected and the cabin itself was very well equipped! I would definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay, however the fireplace apparently is only usable between Oct 1 - March 1. Last time I checked it can be pretty cold in March. In fact, it snowed while we were there and it would have been really nice to wake up drinking coffee by the fireplace as the snow fell. The fireplace should be year-round, or possibly available for more months, or at least advertise on the listing the times that the fireplace is operable.
