Spent a couple days relaxing and exploring the area after spending time in Glacier & Yellowstone.
The house is very nice, quiet area with a nice view.
Hope to stay again.
We had a great time staying here over the Christmas break. We enjoyed the quick drive to Showdown and to the White Sulphur Hot Springs. Allan was a great host, very helpful and accommodating. We would happily stay here again. So grateful they share this fabulous property.

Thank you for your very nice review. Also, thank you very much for leaving the cabin in such great condition and the effort you put into cleaning up. Happy New Year and we'll see you at Showdown
We completely enjoyed this property. The cabin is cozy, well stocked with amenities, and has nice views. It’s very comfortable. We loved relaxing on the front porch with our coffee in the morning and appetizers at the end of the day. We went hiking during the days and made a trip to Great Falls. It was such an enjoyable stay!
Absolutely incredible property and phenomenal host. Montana is our favorite place, and this property did not disappoint! It was well appointed, warm and cozy. Just perfect for our ski / snowmobile trip. Our rental car ended up with a dead battery and Allan was able to provide us a jump start so we could exchange the vehicle. Thank you so much for an incredible trip, we will be back!
This cabin couldn't have been better for our trip. The two bedrooms were basically separate suites, so we had great privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals and the sitting and dining areas were comfortable. Sitting on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, listening to the creek in the distance was perfect. The only caution I'd offer to other guests would be to stay off the bridge that's to the right on the gravel path from the front porch. A rather grouchy neighbor kicked us off when we were fishing and exploring on our first morning. But that didn't stop us from pulling in our limit on trout every day we were there!
Cute cabin! Great location! Cleanliness was not up to par!
This was a nice, modern, roomy cabin, tastefully decorated-near the Showdown Ski Area. The cabin was nestled in the woods, but we found it a little difficult to locate right away. The reason for the four star review is that we found several mouse droppings in the silverware drawer. There were half eaten mouse baits around the inside cabin, so we assumed there had been mice in the cabin. We ended up washing all the silverware, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans. The owner did refund our cleaning deposit. Note that you will need to bring a hairdryer!
We enjoyed the cabin with modern upgrades. The Neihart and Monarch restaurant’s food was excellent. The Lewis and Clark National forest was near our cabin and we took a hike and enjoyed the beautiful waterfall at the top. Montana is a beautiful state.
Honestly, this "cabin" was beyond my expectations. It was immaculately maintained and supplied very well. The creek is so charming . I am so grateful for the comforts of home in such a rural part of Montana! Bob' Bar near by was delicious if future travelers need a good place to grab a bite! Nearish to the house was the Memorial falls, it's about a mile walk to the top and we had to take some breathing breaks.. but we are completely out of shape for mountain air! I think our favorite view was from the top of the fire tower about 10 miles away Porphyry Peak. Highly recommend this for a real mountain get away! Only draw back would be how far away you are from convenience items. Bring what you need in with you! Otherwise the Inconvenience store has a ton of basics but maybe not exactly what you are needing. Overall this was a perfect trip!!
The cabin was located on a beautiful piece of property with stunning views. The host provided all the comforts of home which made it a very comfortable stay. The cabin was clean and it was obvious that the host takes pride in the rental. The host was extremely helpful with offering information about local area points of interest and activities. Overall it was an amazing experience and would love to return for future adventures.
We stayed at this property for a quick skii trip nearby at Showdown. It's an awesome place not far from the mountain which beats driving >1hr from larger towns. I definitely suggest other people stay. Cheers!
This property is a perfect get away for anyone that wants peace and quiet. The whole property is beautiful and the Cabin is very cozy with all of the conveniences of a modern home. The Host is very helpful with any needs and the Cabin is fully equipped. We loved our 2 weeks here and would like to return again in the future.
The cabin was in a convenient, private location. Access to the Creek was a great bonus! Wonderful location for a family getaway. Remember all your supplies, Convenience stores are quite a distance.
We had a great stay at this property in Monarch. Home was comfortable and slept our family of 5 easily. One minor issue due to extreme cold temperatures (-15F) was addressed and fully resolved within an hour by the owner, very impressed. Would stay again.
